The Liberty, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Boston

Amazing location and a very cool hotel. Restaurants were great, was able to get take out and eat in my room.

The jail theme is over done and crosses over the boundaries of good taste into being offensive. I appreciate the history of the building and that the hotel has chosen to lean into it. However, incarceration is not particularly funny and clearly people suffered in this building for years. Additionally, we currently live in a country with a huge incarcerated population who is mistreated and over-sentenced disproportionately based on race. Therefore, things like the "no not disturb" signs which were made to look like handcuffs and said "solitary" were deeply offensive to me. Solitary confinement and it's over use is a crime against humanity. The hotel needs to do some soul searching and pull back on its use of the prison theme, STAT.

Clean, upscale, proximity to Mass General

Clink Restaurant- food was good but the service was SLOW!!! Went there 3 times, so it wasn’t fluke. Need more staff. The wait was UNACCEPTABLE!

After visiting for drinks on a couple of occasions I was so looking forward to staying overnight, Wonderful stay. Room is vey spacious and some great touches in terms of the decoration. We were offered a glass of champagne on arrival. All the staff were so attentive and friendly. We ate at Scampo and also had drinks and food in the bar area. Breakfast at The Clink rounded out a really special weekend.

Restrooms on 2nd floor could have been cleaner

We loved how walkable this location was. We were able to get to the museum of science, duck boat tours and the north end without our car. The hotel is nice but I wouldn’t say pristine. There was a lot of visible wear and tear on items in our room. Our bed was very comfy and clean, the view was great, and the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. We also really enjoyed brunch at Clink, the eggs Benedict was delicious.

The room felt a bit beat up. The details matter to me when I am staying away from home and though aesthetically pleasing overall I felt it needed a bit of sprucing up.

The convenience of the property to Beacon Hill. The history is amazing. The beautiful decor and the staff are extremely kind, knowledgeable. Everyone always has a smile on their face. Highly staying at this hotel.

Everything was perfect! The bed/room very comfortable, the hotel position, within walking distance to everything you need in Boston is good and the atmosphere and vibe are amazing.

If I need to find something negative I would say the cost of the valet parking!

The room was beautiful! We even got a courtesy upgrade to a higher floor with an amazing view of Boston. The bed was very comfortable and the mini fridge was a great touch. again, remarkable views!!!

I wish the Clink restaurant was opened to sit inside the cells but because of COVID, we were unable to. My boyfriend is a corrections officer and that was one of the main selling points of me surprising him with this trip. When I found out we could only sit in the lobby, which is still nice, I was disappointed. Not the hotels fault.

Historical and beautiful - I mean, an old jail into a hotel ? C’mon !! Staff was attentive and friendly.

It was so expensive ! I don’t agree with paying a service fee and a parking fee when a hotel is this expensive for a night.

Location is great - across the street from a “T” station(subway) making it easy to get around. About 10 minute ride from airport. Staff was awesome from the time you walk up to when you leave. Restaurants located within the hotel are very good - a little pricey but great.

Was not unhappy with anything about this property.

Room was nice and spacious. Surprisingly quiet as well. Staff was super friendly and so accommodating really made the stay incredible. The location was great as well.

Only had one cleaning service and had to ask for towels everyday, the last day they never arrived. Not a good view but not to upset about it.
