I've should have stayed here before. The room was clean, recently remodeled, and it was quiet, which is very important to me as I needed the rest. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly, professional and the check in was smooth and quick. I felt safe the entire time and even walked across the street to get dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby. The room was a great value too, much nicer than any of the other options in the area and less expensive. I would happily stay there again and would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

The manager John was very accomodating and assisted with any needs we requested. The hotel was quiet and offered all basic necessities, including air conditioning. It's also near a few shopping stores if you need anything. Likewise, it is near freeway entrances for locations leading to Universal Studios or Santa Monica pier. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The area isn't the best. If you avoid the main road at night or if you walk with friends it should be okay. There are some characters on that road. The back neighborhood is peaceful if you desire a walk. The TV wasnt working properly but hey who needs it if you have a phone.

I didn't expect suc a well kept and quiet place. Tere is a nice little lwn in front of the rooms. The bed was fine the shower etc was as good as you'd expect. I found nothing to frown about. It's in an inhospitable buiness ditrct which may be exactly where you wnt to be.There is a Starbuck across the stret, a Jons Supermarket and I reccommend the Popeyes Louisiana Chicken a couple of blocks north. I'll definatly tay there again when I'm on town.

The parking behin the motl was a little scary. I hope theyhave camera's back there.

The staff there are extremely helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate you and I like the way they in gauge the other clients and the public. They respect your privacy. And any complaint is resolved immediately whereby I even felt guilty about the trivial matter in the first place like remote control batteries needed replacing.

The location for me is a little out of the way but- considering the the value it is 100% work the extra distance to my office.

Customer service was on the top🖤 very helpful and resourceful people! The hotel inside was very nice and clean for its value! Had a working fridge and oven microwave very useful and functioning. Very adorable sitting area with some benches to sit and relax. For its location its very nice compare to any other hotels I have stayed and very good pricing would recommend getting it online to get a cheaper price 🖤👍

I like everything about the property, the safety of the gated entry , the view from my window inside the room , the parking that is on sight , the cleaning staff , the room was perfect . And lastly , the owner he is absolutely awesome You can tell he is right on it when it comes to his hotel. It makes you feel secure and I will tell my friends & fam to skip other hotel options and come here ! Thank you Hyland Hotel

Easy check-in, clean, friendly and helpful staff. The property is safe and secure. The property manager John went out of his way to accommodate me. Thank you John! It is one of the best values in the San Fernando Valley under $110. I will continue to patronize this establishment when in the area.

No way of accessing the home cooked food that I could smell every time I passed the property’s office! “Wow!” is all that I can say…. Made me hungry every single time…

towels are changed every day, clean enough, but the room is on the ground floor, the window can be opened from the outside and the rest of the guests, everyone goes to their rooms past the windows, the noise insulation is very poor, the contingent is still, leaves much to be desired. the location is excellent near the shopping center and pharmacy, cafe. I didn’t like that the water in the shower was always barely warm, and it was cold enough for California outside.

I appreciate it that the rooms are nice and clean and also that your staff John was very accommodating for my situation I will definitely be back knowing that my company will be doing work in the area in the future.

It would have been nice if you guys would have had an ice machine on the property. Even though you're very close to Major supermarkets coming home from work tired I was not looking forward to having to leave the property for ice.

No breakfast, but a Starbucks and Panda Express across the street and A Mickey D's down on the corner

more electrical outlets in the rooms...but this is an old place that's been re-furbished...lower your expectations
