Very friendly, and personable staff. Great decor. Spotless. Big comfy bed, with comfy linens. Cold air conditioning. Great water pressure. Big tv. Black-out curtains. Place was sold out, but I didn't hear any noise from any of the adjoining rooms. Might have heard somebody smoking a joint & coughing hysterically, outside- once.. But very quiet otherwise. Great location... I think everything is way overpriced these days... but compared to other lodging in the area- this place had good value, for their rate. We only stayed one night, but very much enjoyed our stay. Recommend!

All was Superb, Politely Declined Service, the room was spotless All was confortable, was happy down the end, nice and quiet Will definately book room 122 again On my return I will install an hanging close rack, at my sole cost and expence. All e;se was perfect, Got everything done, I came from Australia to accomplish. So happy to have found a place that totaly fit my needs I will return, with pleasure..

Very comfortable with separate kitchenette for our extended stay visiting our son. A few blocks from the Galleria with restaurants and movie theaters. More restaurants walking distance as well. We needed to extend our stay and the staff was very helpful. Looks like what was called a motor lodge in the 1960’s. With swimming pool. Remodeled, clean, modern interiors.

All just fine really. The breakfast selections were minimal but worked for us.

My basic needs were met. No frills, cut and dry, I safe enough place to rest your head at the end of a long or even short stay.

No frills. The remodeling looks good, as in good enough for a couple of days where you’ll feel like you can recalibrate. It’s not going to give you a sense of high end comfort or bonus amenities. I think though, that this is by design. I happen to know why the need for remodeling and rebranding for that matter, and without giving that away, I’d say they’ve done a great job of that. don’t worry it’s not like murders took place there, but then again, I’m sure we’ve all stayed places where the history of who stayed there or what the location was used for was less than ideal for future customers. and still the stay was pleasant enough. I mean, the Chateau Marmont didn’t shut down when John Belushi died there. Staying at The Sourjourn can be just that - pleasant, enough.

Central location , very close to Universal Studios and Hollywood. Commuting is easy with host of options - Uber, Bus and subway . Lot of eating options...various cuisines Good parking

Nothing really ...nice breakfast spread ..would have liked eggs/omelettes Rooms are cleaned on alternate days ..perhaps for customers staying for more than a week - it could be done daily

It was adequate for my needs

No hair dryer or coffee in the room The combo AC / heater is next to the ceiling — I had to drag a chair over to turn it on. The first time I had to have someone show me WHERE the heat source was and how it worked. The room was a cosmetized declin

This is an affordable stay. I like how they have controlled costs. It works..e.g. no microwave, no room coffee, one trash can in room, simply TV. The decor is bright and colorful.

I had an incident where a man approached me in the parking and started asking questions about my stay. Only when asked did he give his name and indicate that he was the "general manager" of the place. Employees should dress professionally and introduce themselves.

Everything was perfect, the room was cosy and clean with a nice swimming pool area just in front of it. The staff was very helpful, I especially appreciate how Jasmine and Maribel took care of all of my needs. I highly recommend this hotel also because it is very well connected by bus, if you don’t have any car.

The breakfast was very poor. But apart from this detail everything was excellent.

The entire front office and house keeping team were very friendly and approachable. Got lots of advice, in terms of places to visit, general logistics and places to eat. Would definitely be returning.

The staff were/are so kind and accommodating. I am here because my daughter is in the hospital and they have made this part of my stay very easy. Marshay, jasmine, Michael are just awesome.

The climb upstairs but the staff has offered to help me move downstairs
