We stay here when in LA, great location on the marina, with good size rooms and their restaurant and pool area are excellent.

Biggest problem is the car park and they only allow valet parking. Shouldn't have to pay for parking when you are staying at the hotel. They should provide free valet for hotel guests, or allow a self park area for hotel guests.

We live in LA and this hotel has become one of our best choices for a "staycation". We love sitting at the balcony watching the marina or relaxing by the pool. Its location is not only ideal because it is by the sea, walking distance to a few restaurants, bars and grocery stores and next to Venice but also because being at the end of one of the arms of the marina itself, the place feels secluded, away from traffic and any noise in general, other than a few seagulls and sea lions. The food at their restaurant Salt is really good. We recently tried the roasted octopus on black garlic and romesco sauce and it was to die for. An extra perk we love about this hotel is they have rental bikes for $5 an hour and the ride either way of the long bike path is amazing. If you go north head down Via Marina and along the Grand Canal towards Venice and its Canal District. If you go south stop at Fisherman's Village on your way to the beach path.

first floor marina view king was nice. bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and well stocked, although there was a little wet moldy smell in the bathroom, maybe a better fan will decrease that... just wet bathroom smell, but not too overwhelming..

That i was not able to extend my stay through the hotel its self, rahter had to use the third party booking site, which then gave me payment issues. I was told that I would be charged on a second card of my choosing for the 3rd night and that did not happen. The card that was charged was not the one that was used for check in of the second reservation for the third night. Ive booked several hotels on third party booking sites and never had the issues I did, here, when trying to extend my stay. Maybe work something out with that to make it less of a hassele.

On out visit to LA we decided to stay away from Downtown and travel in to see the attractions. Booked this hotel which is located right on a marina in Del Rey. Modern hotel with a great pool area and small jacuzzi which was open even though it was January. Rooms were spacious with a small balcony that faced the city, had to pay extra for a marina view. The hotel has a restaurant (Salt) which offered quality food choices but was very expensive when compared to others in the area. Did not offer self park at the hotel so the valet service cost $45 per day, a cost in addition to your room rates that were not cheap. There was public parking nearby but there was no security so I did not want to chance parking there with our hire car. Marina complex was great to walk around and offered other hotels, bars and restaurants to visit. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and kind, helped us order a pizza takeaway to the hotel one night. There are bus routes nearby that take you to Santa Monica where you can pick up Orange bus routes into Downtown LA and the attractions. We tended to get Uber taxis into Downtown at a cost of about $50. Hotel is near to LAX so handy if you need somewhere with quality facilities to stay before flying.

Valet service was costly ($45 per day) when you consider they only drove and parked our car 20 metres from where I pulled up outside the hotel.

Our work schedules provided an opportunity to drive down to the Los Angeles area a day early so we initially booked this room because of its location and the price. I have to say that the hotel far exceeded our expectations for the price and amenities. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. They were clean and the space was modern. The pool area was perfect for hanging out, with a large offering of chairs and lounge areas. All of our interactions with hotel staff were courteous and professional. This place is a hidden gem and we are looking forward to spending a few days here without the kids for our next visit.

The accommodation, the room, the surroundings and the pool, everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the accommodation was clean and tidy.

What was disappointing: Parking the car was very expensive (45 US dollars/day), despite this, when checking in, they asked for the car key to stick a piece of paper. (They did not move with the car.) Therefore, they charged an extra fee as a parking service. They also charged for something extra (either coffee prepared and consumed in the room for us, or the paid Wi-Fi), which was not nice. I didn't complain because it was just a small pain, but it didn't go well.

A great location if you need to catch a plane at LAX the nex day (much nicer and less expensive than most nearby 4* airport hotels). Uber/Lyft to LAX: outside of rush hours 20 USD. Pool A great view, if you book a harbour/bay view room. Decent food, nice cocktails A very comfortable bed
