Twenty Nevern Square Hotel

We had the kings suite and it was beautiful and huge.

There were just some little niggles that let the room down. The heating/Aircon unit not working was a big problem, at times the room was very cold. The room was stunning but there is some rough tiling in the bathroom. The intercom doesn't work and caused a minor inconvenience. We got this room at a great price but had we have paid full price I would have expected these little things to be right.

The staff here are outstanding! They met all our needs and were so kind at every encounter. The location is amazing as it’s only a couple of blocks from the tube station yet it’s on a quiet street. Also, this place is super clean, which is always appreciated. When the woman at breakfast noticed that I kept getting tea, she immediately offered me a larger mug every morning and that was great!

The mattress was really hard. My daughter and I couldn’t sleep on our sides because the mattress dug into our hips. Also, the breakfast was too light for our tastes. The boiled eggs were over done and rubbery, and I usually love eggs. We ended up eating just toast. Other than that, things were great!

Great location, great hotel and greats staff. We had a Pasha room and it had a comfy bed, a sitting area, bath and shower. It ticked all the boxes for a couple of nights’ stay in London. A few minutes walk from Earl’s Court Subway and a giant Tesco 5 mins walk away. Would highly recommend. The only downside, and it sounds pedantic but is one of my favourite things about staying away , is that the coffee at breakfast - both the filter and the latte made from the machine - was appalling. Undrinkable. Having said that that, worth staying here as everything else was excellent.

I often book in the Nevern Square area as it's so close to the museums, but this was a hotel I hadn't been to yet. I arrived far too early for check in, but they were happy to hold my luggage whilst I met with a dear friend. On my return to check in, I was astonished when they'd not only upgraded me to a suite (!) but had taken my luggage to the room. What a fantastic surprise! The Sheherazade Suite is in a courtyard of its own, with a fantastic deep bath and seperate shower. Creatively decorated as well! Staff were marvelous, the breakfest crew were extra lovely.

The only minor downside was the repair work being done next door, but I was out most of the day, so no matter.

The hotel is unique there is a great deal of vintage/antique furnishing and it has a lovely ambiance, it is a small hotel so don't expect all glass and stainless steel and high-tech, it has a tasteful and cozy feel to it. The cleaners do an amazing job, it is spotless!! yes our room, 21, was small but it had everything you need including a sweet balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the rear of the property, the staff are excellent, the parking is efficient and secure, the location is wonderful, overlooking a beautiful square, (residential) a nice change from staying in a typical "Hotel quarter". I personally loved this hotel it was great value and all round nice experience.

Nothing really to focus on anything negative would have been picky! I would only say that if you are used to big stainless steel and glass modern rooms with massive beds this is really the opposite but it's all a matter of taste anyway.

We stayed in the Pasha suite. Great character room and loads of space. 3 sets of double doors that opened to outside. Great in the summer I would think! Nice view of the square. Good continental breakfast.

The pillows were far too hard for our liking. These need changing as horrible to sleep on. The main niggle for us were the bathroom lights. They are on a ceiling sensor. If you get up in the night it's like Blackpool illuminations. And there's no turning them off. A pull chord could easily replace this system and give your guests a choice of lights or not!!

I love this room so much. We always book this room for leisure or business. its tiny but the outdoor terrace is such a bonus. I spent most of my time out there enjoying the fresh autumn air.

There was a terrible banging noise in the pipes above my room that stopped around 11pm and woke me up at 5am. Breakfast has taken a few steps back since our last visit. Consider adjusting the heaters so that are not blowing directly on the cold buffet items. Potentially source a better quality bread for the toast and a second juice option. The garden area should also be cleaned up and dried. it would be a nice place to sit.

Location is amazing. So close to the metro and amenities but it's quiet as it's just two blocks away from the main street. Room is clean, the cleaning service is great. Breakfast was sufficient but I don't mind skipping it Staff were also pretty nice, one lady also offered us to store our luggage in the last day. If you're looking to a generally clean hotel with a great location and not planning to stay in for most of the time, it's perfect! Worth the money, I'd book it again when I'm in London but I'll opt for a more expensive room :)

Location is great, just behind Earls Court station. Size was perfect - 35sqm for London is generous but we did not stay in the hotel building but in fact, in a studio flat owned by the hotel two blocks away. Very clean and convenient with platform bed area built over living room area. Small kitchenette with fridge, washing machine and cooker.

For security reason, since it was a flat in a mansion block the hotel should install peephole in the entrance door of the flat. Slightly noisy when neighbors walk upstairs as floors are squeaky, possibly they don't have a carpet upstairs. Front Office or reservations should send a message explaining the flat is NOT part of the hotel, we carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs to reception only to find out that flat is two blocks walk away.
