The location, size of the room, and charm of the old building, especially our room under the ancient ceiling.

The kitchen facilities were lacking - no kettle or cereal bowls or spoons (we had to ask for them) and no toaster, insufficient kitchen utensils (eg. no egg slice, bread knife, spatula), and no microwave or oven. Also, many of the TV channels listed were not available, eg. music channels, and Netflix was inaccessible. The staff were friendly and helpful but were restaurant staff and didn't know much about our room.

The room was spacious with high ceilings. It was clean. The bathroom included a jacuzzi, which was a nice surprise. The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was very convenient, right in the centre of Thun.

Due to it's central location, sometimes there was noise from people outside, as the room was on the first floor with a window to the street. Earplugs were helpful, though.

Everything. Lift. Cool room was great after walking around in heat all day. Location, easy walk out door to eateries, castle, shops, 10 minute walk to train station

Price, but only because booked at last minute so to be expected

Amazing accommodations. Comfortable, airy, and didn't want to leave!!

No toiletries provided. Just an all-in-one plastic packet. Everything else was that of a 5 star hotel.

The room was spacious, charming and well furnished, and overlooked the main square in the Old Town. Plenty of hot water for showers. Great shopping and amenities very nearby, plus the castle. Close to the train station but in a less-touristy area. Friendly reception. The hotel felt secure.

Due to Covid19, the restaurant not in operation and the whole town a bit of a ghost town. But that’s obviously not an issue with the property or management.

the hotel is very historic place. it is well maintained.

the plug was not suitable for 220V. only swiss plug.

Room was large and comfortable. Location perfect for walking to attractions and traveling by train. Also, attached is good restaurant.

The suite is more like a modern luxury apartment... it is awesome. The entrance is separate from the restaurant, truly feels like you are living local.
