The location was ideal for our purposes. We especially enjoyed our room with a balcony. The breakfast is very good, the coffee from the big machine is excellent. The personnel is very charming and attentive. Terrace restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable and to be recommended. We would certainly choose the Rössli again.
The mattresses are rock hard, and I‘m really not a fussy sleeper. Room was very hot in the afternoon/evening, but then a fan was provided on the hottest days, which was greatly appreciated.

Especially interesting for people knowing the area. It is not central but very well connected by public transport and a lot cheaper than hotels in the city centre. it is not part of one of the big chains and feels more personal.

The location is excellent. The tram stop is across the road from the hotel - a two minute walk at the most. Roller shutters on the windows to shut out early morning light. Really friendly staff.
In summer it would be nice to have a fan in the room so you could get some 'breeze' on those warm summer nights you get in Basel. Tea and coffee making facilities would also be good.

It was a little bit out of the centre but a tram stopped right outside so perfect for getting in to the city, and we were given a travel card to use while we were there. It was in a really pretty suburb of Basel. Nice food at the restaurant, staff lovely, buffet breakfast good.

Loved the care and attention each staff member shared with us. Helpful travelling advice and great breakfasts. All right in the heart of Allschwil. It was a community, cultural Swiss experience.

perfect location- far from basil yet lovely with the 6 tram in front of hotel taking strait to central town.
Breakfast was pretty weak and coffee was not good at all.
