Hotel Fernando III

Location is great for walking to Seville’s sights. Thoughtfully designed room with a good bed, kept extremely clean throughout our weeklong stay. Our room near the back of the hotel was nice and quiet. Varied, complete breakfast buffet in their restaurant, we had it twice. The staff are all exceptional, warm professionals, a great team who made us feel at home. We would love to return.

Really comfy bed. Extremely clean hotel. Amazing breakfast, lots of choice. Very friendly staff, always someone available to help with any issues.

Lack of sun beds at peak times. This didn’t really bother us as we were happy to stay in the bar area, however, I think if clients reserve a bed with a towel, then go for lunch for a couple of hours, this needs to stop. (As happened while we were there). If you’re not by the pool, you should let another customer have the chance to use the sun bed.

absolutely loved this hotel, and the city of Seville. the hotel was clean and modern, but in the centre of the historic quarter, with bars and restaurants right on the doorstep (plus an excellent bakery in the same road). particularly like the rooftop bar, and pool area right at the top. our visit was Mid October, and these were both still open. we also had a pod type coffee machine in the room, and extra coffee was given in request.

The staff on the 4th floor pool bar were not as good as the rest of the hotel staff. They would benefit from much closer supervision. On our first night we ordered bacalao but they only brought out 2 meals instead of the 3 we ordered. When we pointed this out the waiter apologised for the misunderstanding. He went back to the kitchen and returned with bacalao for my husband but it was stone cold and completely inedible. When we complained the waiter said it would be taken off the bill. Also, during the afternoon of the 13th May, which was our last day, the music was turned up so much we had to leave and go back to our room. We were very disappointed as we felt it was turned up on purpose.

Hotel Fernando III is located in the historic centre of the city, besides it has a nice roof terrace and an immaculate swimming pool. The view from the terrace is just stunning. We had both a nice dinner in the roof restaurant and a wonderful open buffet breakfast on the first floor. The breakfast had a wide variety of selection and the dinner was tasty. The bed was comfortable and there was no noise to disturb us - which is important for me. Cleanliness is very important for my taste and this hotel passed my evaluation. The staff was very helpful and ready to answer every question. In summary, this hotel is a very nice stop in Sevilla.

The staff on reception especially the young man,(we didn`t get his name) was very helpful when our flight was cancelled and we could not fly home for another 4 days.. This man could see how stressed we were and he just was so relaxed about things, nothing was a problem and he so he quickly helped sort us out a room for this. We had to move rooms again after a few days, but that was in the arrangement as the hotel required the room. Thankful of the swimming pool , as this helped us relax for the afternoon, and because we had been in Seville now for several more days than planned it was even more needed! Seville is beautiful and this hotel is in the centre of it all and is so convenient to walk around during the day and night. A real gem of a place and a lovely pool to cool down in.

The location was amazing. So close to all the attractions and some lovely places to drink and eat tapas close by. We didn’t have included breakfast but there were lots of options around the hotel. We didn’t use the pool but the rooftop bar was a lovely place to grab a drink and cocktail. Staff were lovely at reception.

If I had to find a fault then The aircon was a little loud overnight and I prefer a slightly softer bed (neither are complaints as it’s persona preference) so had to wear earplugs but apart from that our stay was great. Would definitely come back and recommend to others travelling to Seville

Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast.

Room didn’t quite have the view described in the booking. Rather than overlooking cute tile roofed buildings the view was of the side of another building with a partial view of people by the pool. The beds were only so-so and the air conditioning in the room did not work well. The biggest issue is the noise of people on the halls. The hall floors are beautiful stone tile that seem to be waxed. When people walk on them their shoes squeak loudly. Most of the day and late into the night you hear squeaking shoes all the way down the hall.

The Hotel was excellent – The room was great – The staff cannot do enough for you and with me they have to do a lot – The breakfast and evening meal were also really good. The location was spot–on. Lastly there was secure underground parking which was fantastic as there is no street parking. An added bonus was plenty of water was supplied by the Hotel at no extra cost, don't know if this is the norm or due to the extremely hot weather? It was a jest much appreciated by me.

The only reason it didn't a 10 from me was the surprise at checkout. Where I had paid for everything with cash I was expecting my bill to be zero only to be told that there is a 60 euro charge for use of the underground parking. If this had been mentioned when I booked using Booking.com or when I first mentioned about parking upon my arrival that would have been great. But it came as a surprise, was just something not budgeted for. If I had been told about the parking fee for the get go it would have been a 10 from me.
