From the initial welcome to throughout our stay and then the check-out the service was exceptional. The hotel is a little oasis of peace and tranquility in the city. Situated in a very narrow street with a very unassuming front entrance you step into the most beautiful place with the wonderful smell of lilies and staff who make you feel very special. It will hold the most wonderful memories for me and my partner for our lives to come. The double bed that was made up of two single beds could have been better. Apart from this everything exceeded our expectations.

lovely boutique hotel in a traditional town house tucked away in a tiny street metres from the cathedral and Alcazar and surrounded by nice bars and restaurants (thoroughly recommend San Marco nearby). staff super charming and helpful and a classical guitar recital at 7.30 pm in the patio with drinks was magical.

Room was lovely, but modest for the price and personally would have preferred to have seen more traditional materials used in the finishes for this style of house. Also don’t let Google maps try and get you to the hotel by car. You’ll find yourself in narrower and narrower streets until the stress levels max! We ended up calling the hotel who guided us to the nearest accessible square, met us and took our luggage to the hotel and then parked the car for us in their reserved parking area 10 mins walk away (for €25)

The attention to detail is amazing! the relaxing welcome drink in the courtyard, excellent service, and beautiful hotel — artful design elements with calming colors and pleasing textures in the room. I love the quiet refuge feel in the center of a busy tourist area.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The mattress seemed old.

The only complaint is the comfort of the bed. For the cost per night at this beautiful boutique hotel, I expected a much better mattress. The Marriott is consistent on the superb comfort of their beds, I was hoping casa de la poeta would have been the same.

would have given a ten, however it was quite noisy during our stay - both from the courtyard below and above. all the other pros outweigh this and we would definitely stay again.

Absolutely perfect! We have been travelling for five weeks through France and Spain and La Casa del Poeta is the best accommodation we have had. Every aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent, but the staff and the service were stand-out aspects. The welcome drinks, bottle of Cava, daily fruit in the room, and beautiful breakfast were also great. The location is also perfect for exploring all parts of this amazing city. Although there isn't any car parking, and we had to walk a short distance from our car to the hotel, the whole process was seamless and effortless. Our car was valet-parked at a nearby parking station at a very reasonable cost. I don't know why La Casa del Poeta isn't a 5-star hotel!!

The hotel is a dream! An oasis in a hot Seville, it provides a romantic place to have a great breakfast or a nice afternoon cocktail with live spanish guitar. The staff is awesome, making us feel valued. They parked our car and handled all our demands.

The room had a lot of ants. The bed and the bathroom had an extensive number of ants, and this is due to the plants 🪴 in the property . It is very annoying to witness, and when we raised it with the reception , they addressed it by putting some ant repellents. The rooms have noise as the windows and main doors are old and not insulated enough. Especially in the mornings and afternoons when people check in or out, it is tough to have an extensive sleep as you can hear what is happening downstairs.

Location absolutely perfect. Central affording easy strolls into restaurants and tapas bars. Main sight seeing locations all 19 minutes walk. The hotel has the most charming central courtyard which serves as a lovely cool oasis in the middle of a very hot Seville. Staff could not be kinder or more attentive. Don’t hesitate to book here for your city break.

Can’t think of anything at all really

Good central location in the old part of Seville. Getting around is fun as it is a warren of small streets! The hotel itself, once you step through the entrance is stunning and an oasis of peace and comfort. Our suite was beautiful, large and very comfortable. The staff are truly wonderful. For example, we arrived to check-in. Unlike other hotels where you wait in line to talk with someone behind a desk, at the Hotel Casa Del Poeta you are directed to a table in their beautiful atrium where you are then offered a complimentary drink. Someone then comes welcomes you and takes passports so check-in can be completed. They then spend time showing you a map of the city and talking through options for your stay. Totally first-class in every way and such a great start to your time in their beautiful hotel. But, ALL of the staff are hugely attentive, pleasant and very professional. I cannot thank them enough for making our stay so enjoyable. We have stayed in many good hotels over the years, is this the best we have found? Yes, I believe it is.

Only minor niggle is the noise sometimes from the street and the internal atrium as the sound travels up to the rooms. This isn't massively intrusive unless you are a very light sleeper. Worth remembering that life is very different here, with people happily sitting down for dinner at 10.30pm and later.

The property, rooms and courtyard were beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent air conditioning, and everything required for our short stay. The location could not have been better as we managed to easily visit (on foot) the Catedral de Sevilla, Alcazar Seville, Setas de Sevilla, Museo de Baile Flamenco and various tapas bars during our two day stay.

Everything was perfect but if I had to say one thing that could be improved it would be that the noise of breakfast being served in the morning could be heard in our room (room was not adequately soundproofed as website advises)
