Hotel Boutique Casa de Colón

Great location, large room, excellent breakfast. Pretty hotel with nice rooftop. Very nice and helpful staff.

Shower water temperature took a long time to warm and did not stay warm. Had to turn shower cold off resulting in not enough water. Did not like shower head placement as was forced to use the sprayer off the handle.

Absolutely beautiful building with gorgeous features. Very comfortable room, very spacious. Excellent central location at the heart of all the main sights, everything I wanted to see was walking distance. Staff were all very kind.

Only bug bear was that the wifi worked only in the main areas, it didn’t quite reach to the room itself. The breakfast process was a little tricky as you had to call 15mins ahead for them to prepare, however each day the information wasn’t passed on so I had to wait anyway. But all in all a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this to those travelling to Seville!

This establishment is incredibly close to the city center and major tourist attractions. Our room was exceptionally spacious, with a generously sized bathroom. I highly recommend opting for the room that includes breakfast, as you can enjoy it either in your own room or on the rooftop terrace overlooking the city—a choice I strongly endorse. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and provided valuable guidance on where to dine and socialize in the city.

I do not about the other rooms in this establishment but there was nothing to complain about our room in general, as we only stayed for short period of time.

Brilliant location a stones throw from the cathedral in the old town. Very friendly staff. Room was as expected , comfortable and cool with air con that was needed. Safe was helpful.

Two small things No shade in the roof terrace, too hot to eat breakfast there. We ate in our room which was perfectly fine. Second was some odd metal bolt like attachments to the bed headboard which are in keeping with the aesthetics but were easy to bang your head on!

The location was perfect for seeing the city and the building was beautiful. The breakfast was very pleasant. There was a choice of different breads, spreads, fruit, yoghurt, and cheese, ham, and eggs any way. I would add that my partner and I left a ring in the room and the hotel have been excellent at communicating with us and getting the ring safely returned. Excellent customer service. 10/10.

The only thing I would change is that we had an internal room, which is very unusual in the UK and limits the amount of natural. Still, the room was lovely, well sized and I would definitely stay again with my partner.

Great location and a lovely boutique hotel retaining many of the building’s original features. Breakfast on the roof was nice and the staff were very friendly & helpful.

The mirror above our bed was a bit low which meant sitting up in bed was tricky. And the bathroom was a bit cramped where they had squeezed a shower in - plus our shower screen came off it’s runner while we were there (quickly fixed)

The staff were so friendly and kind. They made sure I could reach out to them if I needed anything. They also assisted me in extending my stay when I had to return to remote work and provided me another beautiful and comfy room. They were able to hold my luggage after check out until my flight. The location was incredible. I could walk to the plaza just a few steps away from the hotel and listen to live music and dancing. Everything was very close to the hotel including restaurants, bars, and shops with the best souvenirs I've ever bought. I would love to go back!

We had high hopes for this individual, authentic hotel which is often a recipe for disappointment. Not in this case! Casa de Colon exceeded our expectations. A wonderful mix of traditional charm and modern comforts, such as a good shower, aircon/heating and an excellent bed. Breakfast also exceeded our expectations - sitting on the roof in the sun in January, yes please! - with a great selection of bread, pastries, fruit, yogurt and more. Traditional Spanish items were included as well as local specialities. What more could you want? Location wise, you could not do better being only 2 minutes walk to the cathedral and all the other main sights within 15-20 minutes gentle amble. We were only there 1 night (and an afternoon while waiting for a plane) and we managed to look at most of the places on our list (from the outside at least) and add several to our when next we're here list. We were en-route to Cadiz and the helpful staff allowed us to store our luggage on our return to Seville airport even though we were no longer staying there, saving us the hassle of a left luggage office (although we did find one nearby, btw). These little details make all the difference. We used the airport transfer which was slick and reasonable value but we wouldn't do so again another time, there are dozens of taxis outside the airport and the price is less if you just walk out. However, no criticism, we had someone waiting and it was appreciated. Just be ready to pay swiftly as the road outside the hotel is narrow and one way, so you block the traffic when you get out! We had a deluxe room at the front of the hotel with an antique wrought iron window balcony so couldn't have felt more Spanish. We could see the light show by the town hall without even leaving the room. Surprisingly quiet with the good double glazing closed, however. This may not be the place for you if you like super contemporary, glossy hotels.

The only minor comment was that the coffee at breakfast appeared to be Mezcla (i.e. mixed with torrefacto) rather than natural. Not to our taste but a very small quibble.

We loved our stay here, we even had our room upgraded which was a lovely surprise after a long day! The bed was huge and very comfy and the hotel itself was very beautiful and authentic with the internal courtyard. There was plenty to eat at breakfast which you could eat up on the rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the city and cathedral - just a minute walk away. The location was amazing, could walk to many of the attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was great! Could hear noise from the reception sometimes but didn’t bother us, we were out during the day anyway!

The location of this hotel could not be more perfect, you are only steps away from the Seville cathedral and the Royal Alcázar, as well as plenty of great restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with very generously sized rooms, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast which you can enjoy on the terrace is great quality and value for money. We would absolutely stay here again when next in Seville and highly recommend this hotel.
