Soho Boutique Catedral

The Hotel is in a very central location. Near lots of attractions, shops, restaurants etc. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. Bed was a queen bed which was very comfortable and pristine. Bathroom had a walk in shower, toiletries and a hair dryer. Tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a large T.V. The pool was a great touch as the weather was in the 40s during our stay. Pool towels supplied by the hotel was an extra bonus. Roof top bar and pool.

Excellent location, close to everything. The staff was really nice, they were helpful with everything! The breakfast had wide variety of food and it was nice also! The room was clean and the design was very nice!

Only little thing is, there was a mix up with our taxi order, which we ordered a day before at the reception, we got the information it will be 33 euros on a fix price. But in the morning it seemed the receptionist didnt find our taxi order, which was fine as he solved the problem quickly and nicely (he was excellent), but in the end the taxi driver charged us ~37 euros. This was the only minor thing, other than this is was an excellent stay! :)

This is a modern, clean, comfortable hotel in a super central location. You're a 3/4 min walk from the Alcazar. Maybe 10/12 minutes to Plaza de Espana. A 25 min taxi from the airport. There's plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff are helpful. The shower pressure was good. I was in a standard double room and it was big enough for suitcases plus to move around. I'd happy stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

As the location is central and my room was on the first floor there was some street noise in the evenings. This was until maybe 12/1am on the Saturday night but stopped earlier on all other nights. I only mention it in case someone else is an early/light sleeper but it wouldn't put me off staying here again.

We liked everything, it was perfect. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of continental, cakes, fruit, toast, smoked salmon etc., We really enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast and again a great choice. You could also have cava if you wished. It was lovely to go and sit at the beautiful rooftop bar prior to getting ready to go out for dinner and then to go back after an evening out and just chill. Maria who served us was so pleasant and friendly.

Everything was perfect. Some people may find it disappointing that they did not have satellite tv so not many channels if you wanted to watch tv. But to be honest you don't spend much time in your bedroom as their is so much to do.

Perfect Location in the very center, just about 20 minutes to walk up to the Alhambra entrance.The hotel spaces and the rooms are beautifully designed, a lovely mixture of modern and classic andalusian architecture styles. The room was spacious, the bed very comfy. The ladies at the entrance were super friendly and even gave us nice hints (like the amazing rooftop bar across the street)

Unfortunately we had a room with only a Shower in the Bath Tub, but it worked perfectly. And the little light buttons next to the bed are not great in usability, one can hardly read the labels and shuts bright light on in the middle if the night - or all dark incl. the bathroom :D

Right from booking the staff were helpful and friendly. I asked about transport to the hotel and a taxi transfer was organised for us by the hotel as it was late in the evening so this was perfect. Checkin was easy and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Gluten free rolls provided for my husband on request. Lovely choice of food , friendly and efficient staff in a clean and fresh room. The terrace bar staff were helpful. It was lovely to sit and relax after a hot day. Location is absolutely perfect.

The pool could have been a little bigger, but it was still great for unwinding and cooling off.

The location is perfect and cannot be any better. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean. The lobby smells divine and so do the toiletries!

One huge problem: The hotel is very poorly soundproofed to the point at which one can feel the vibrations made by other guests closing their doors or by people passing by in the hallway. I could not go to sleep before 1:30am, when the trash gets picked up on the street in front of my room. I could even hear the live performances down the street and the words of the occasional passer-by. This is not just the usual noise heard in a hotel where you can't have proper soundproofing, but something far worse than that, which is a shame because the hotel is almost PERFECT otherwise. One other small thing: The bathroom lacked a toiled brush, which is essential in a hotel.

Superb location! We were upgraded to the junior suite which was lovely, had a sofa /seating area and a large bathroom. Very clean and they gave 3 diff types of pillows (different softness) which is so clever. We stayed on level 1 which was a little noisy but nothing too bad.

The only negative in this place is the smell in the lobby area and on level 1. It smelt like the drain and they’ve tried to mask it with a really strong fragrance. Thankfully the room we were in was ok.

Great location, with a lovely little rooftop pool and terrace where you could enjoy a cocktail and get some respite from the heat. Great size room and bathroom with all facilities provided.

Our room (121) must have been next to a cleaning cupboard so each morning from about 0630/0700 we heard people accessing this cupboard, shaking out bags, talking outside the room, etc. We appreciate staff need to be able to access equipment, etc., but it was a shame we could hear them VERY clearly from within our room. There was a smell within the hotel of drains, which was quite prevalent.

Walking into the lobby was always a delight. It was cool and the scent was divine. My room was clean and the high ceilings made it feel more open rather than a typical hotel room. Location was the key- only a short walk from everything ..literally. View from window was out to the street and cathedral and was very special.

Only complaint is about the pool area on the rooftop. It is such a gorgeous space with the bar and lounge, but the small area with the chairs and the types of chairs just doesn't accommodate guests who are after some sun. I know space is paramount, but people want somewhere to lie down (or at least the flexibility to be able to) when using the pool. The chairs just didn't provide that option. Having said that, the staff up there were lovely, towels always plentiful etc.
