Paula from reception was so welcoming and helpful. She just did everything to accommodate for everything. I had a lovely room with city and sea view. The hotel even provides fruit, coffee water and a cake in the room. The small swimming pool is an oasis of silence

The quality of the service, which felt very personalised , and the location was really good - for town and the beach

The hotel is in a fabulous location - quiet but close to town, yet still easy walking to the beaches. The staff were fabulous, they gave us a great run down of restaurants and bars and where to go, and their recommendations were spot- on. Our room was large and very comfy with a small balcony and plenty of room for baggage. There was a fridge and a coffee machine.

The room was very warm and unfortunately the air con was pre-set at 28 degrees celsius, so we couldn't cool it down. However I'm sure that was just a temporary oversight, and once that was fixed the place would be perfect

Friendly welcome by George (who has xcellent english as unfortunately we have no spanish) He was a fountain of information and provided us with a map as to what to do, where to go and restaurant recommendations as well as bus information for getting around. The black out blinds were great addition for blocking the street lights at night-time. Yummy traditional cake provided complimentary provided in the room. Mini fridge kept water cold. Lots of wardrobe storage. Side note: Their is the tastiest little pizzeria just down the street called Nomad, so so good !

The noise of the bathroom door upon opening. It needs some WD40! Bed pillows were a little "chunky" but bed itself was cosy.

Centrally located but not noisy, effective conditioner, small swimming pool and sunbathing area around it. Staff at this hotel is welcoming and attentive, willing to help with any questions you may have. Rooms with a view indeed have fantastic views over the city and Gulf of Santander. A little treats for breakfast were a bonus. Room cleaning service daily.

If to be picky, a tile grout lines in the shower could be looked after a bit better. A bit pricey place but think that market dictates the prices.

This hotel is AMAZING, user/customer experience I would rate 10+. I'm highly recommending this hotel. I arrived around 9:30 pm, very exhausted but the hotel welcomed me – with champaign – I had never experienced something like that. Then recommendations on restaurants and what to see and then he showed us everything. In the room, complimentary breakfast every day is composed of the local products – just WOW! Visit this hotel and have the same amazing experience as I had it. I would like that every hotel has this kind of personal and unique experience. Thank you, Jorge, 😊

Big comfortable bed and AC. Close to center. The street is very nice with diverse beautiful architecture. There are restaurants and bars nearby. Umbrellas are available for guests. Pool looks nice. Reception staff was nice and helpful.

Room was a bit small. The sink is not in the bathroom but in the hallway. The shower had a big clear glass window to some inner yard. They could have at least put some blurred glass. Also room facilities listed a balcony, but no such thing was there.

Stopped here earlier in the year, in the main building. This time I was in the brand new annex next door. V nice room on top floor with good view over the bay to the hills beyond. Spotless, comfortable, good wifi. Although no breakfast as such, they provide a few bits along with a coffee/tea maker (and also offered a glass of champagne on arrival). Short walk to shops/bars/etc. Very good value for money. For the linguistically challenged, the owner speaks unusually good English.

Not the hotel's fault, but there was some noise from other guests, shouting and banging doors in the middle of the night. If you're on foot like me, you have to clamber part-way up the hill! Otherwise no complaints at all.
