Loved the villa, our room, the amazing pool and delicious breakfast! Beautiful walks in the area through almond groves and local farms

We stayed a week but our soaps and products were not replaced- would have been nice to have more.

There is no longer a buffet breakfast. Instead you order an online an a la carte breakfast to be served at your table on the terrace. This is to be applauded. We have all seen the waste with sumptuous buffet breakfasts in swankier hotels. Here you are served with what you desire and no waste.

Nothing. Our hosts were terrific. The absence of an onsite restaurant meant a car was essential for eating out at night but the recommendations from our hosts in Calvia and Es Capdella ( great fish ) were spot on.

Hotel Finca Can Estades offers a perfect combination of natural beauty, tranquility and warm hospitality. An absolute must for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing experience. The rooms are not only comfortable, but also immaculately clean, contributing to a hassle-free stay. The hosts do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you want a different experience, the surrounding villages have plenty to offer.

I booked a week at the hotel as part of a combination of villa and hotel places for a large group of us (14) staying in Calvia , but sadly ended up not needing to use the hotel. However, I was able to meet up with the hosts (who were lovely people) and talk to them about the situation. They were sad that I wouldn’t need the room for the week but made me feel incredibly welcome, and invited us to attend a concert later that week at the hotel. The hotel itself is wonderfully located on the edge of the town and has a very homely and hospitable ambience. I will certainly be back at some stage when I hope to use the full amenities

The location is beautiful, quiet, relaxing, as in the photos. Breakfast is ok. Very clean, inside and outside. You definitely need a car to go for lunch and dinner. You can enjoy your evening even at Can Estades if tou want, they have a selection of drinks you can enjoy and the garden is lovely in the evening too, with cozy lights in the company of their dog and cat ❤️

The single room it is very small and has a tiny window. Even if you travel alone I highly recommend to go for a double room to ensure you have a 10 out of 10 stay at Can Estades.

Lovely house beautifully restored our room was big with a nice balcony and large bathroom with double sinks, air conditioning too as it was exceptionally hot in Majorca! The gardens where lovely to sit in and the pool area was well equipped with shower facilities, toilet, sauna, gym equipment and fridge with cold drinks also provided with towels for the pool,. Comfortable cushioned sun beds with a choice of area to sit and a surprise jacuzzi in the pool! We also enjoyed a lovely tapas platter in the garden one night avoiding driving to a restaurant when we felt it was too hot to eat a meal!

Nothing it was perfect.

The property is quite special. An older, quite grand Mallorcan house yet with a cozy alpine hotel feel to it - the owners are a very nice German couple from Bavaria so perhaps that is not too surprising. Very quiet and peaceful set back from the bustle of the coast near Calvia so great for relaxing. It's at the same time a fantastic location for accessing both the resort towns and villages along the coast and also for hiking in the Traumantana - 15-20 minutes drive to both, and at the same time only 35 minutes from Palma. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly to us, yet discreet, leaving us to enjoy the property. The breakfast choice was good and the pool - which we used a lot - is also worth a mention as is the terrace

The room we were given was not all that special, it had a nice terrace but was a little hot - a loft/attic room, and not easy to sleep (it was 30 degrees + and we couldn't find the ac control which would have helped). Small suggestion, I expect complimentary water to be placed daily in the rooms at this price.

The tranquility of the place was amazing. The hotel is located in the middle of the countryside in Calvia. Away from noises and the hustle and bustle of Palma. The pool was lovely and refreshing too.

It wasn't the easiest to get to. As it was in the countryside, there is no transport to the hotel, just taxis or private transport. I guess if you don't drive it would be a difficult place to get to.

Fantastic location

The breakfast offering could be broadened. For example, we never found a freshly baked cake or fruit pie as you could expect. The A\C unit in our room was a little outdated and not very efficient. Given the high temperatures at the end of August, we sometimes felt the unit was not cooling the room enough.

stunning mallorcan villa that has been beautifully renovated. Charming and attentive owners. If you look for calm and beauty, this is the place to be. I grew up in Mallorca and have fallen in love with this finca.

the a/c is above the bed, which means you get the flow of air on the face during the night. slept with a/c off. the gym (running belt and cross trainer) could do with an upgrade. perhaps a cycling machine.
