My fifth-floor room was quiet and clean, with a great view from big windows over the western part of the city. Sunset was spectacular. Breakfast was ample and varied. The hotel is an easy walking distance from the Mauritshuis Museum, cafes and the shopping arcade de Galerie.

The hotel was going through a rough patch, with the main elevator broken when I arrived and the service elevator broken by the time I left. Communication could sometimes have been better, but circumstances were unusual and stressful for staff. Someone was found to carry my bags downstairs when I left, which was very helpful. The entrance to the hotel was odd. There is almost no footage on the main pedestrian street. Instead, behind some trash bins and past some potted plants, there is a corridor that leads past an alley to an elevator that (when it works) takes you up to reception. Access to the hotel by taxi is limited to certain hours because of its location in a pedestrian zone.

We wanted a central location and were surprised at how quiet it was. The beds were comfortable. The kettle, fridge, and microwave were really useful. When you've been touristing all day and had a big lunch, it's very nice to be able to relax with a glass of cold milk (or wine) and to be able to heat up a pastry. The unexpected big plus was 24-hour bike hire from inside the hotel and a bike-sized lift. The bikes were very good ones. I'd happily stay here again.

The room was well organised but a tiny bit small; my yoga mat only just fitted on the floor. Some shelves inside the wardrobe would have been appreciated. The wardrobe was very big, with a few hangers, then lots of empty space. The pillows were terrible, thin and lumpy. I'd have preferred two plain chairs rather than one upholstered chair - we had to take turns to sit at the desk!

The location is great, right in the center of the city, but not too far from the two main train stations, right above the Spui tram stop, and close to 2 or 3 supermarkets. The girls at the reception were always super nice and helpful. The room is quite spacious and comes with a fridge, a microwave oven, and a coffee machine, so you can buy frozen meals in the supermarket, put them in the fridge, and heat them in the microwave oven whenever you want. There are also free drinks (coffee and tea) in the reception. If there's a day you don't want your room to be cleaned up, you can ask in reception and you'll get a free drink coupon (for helping the environment). The bed is not a double, but two single beds place next to each other instead, which may be uncomfortable for couples, but great for friends and/or family.

The default temperature in the room is a bit low, so you'll have to turn it up every time you enter the room and before going to sleep. The Wi-Fi was decent enough, but the last two days of our stay it stopped working and it wasn't fixed.

Location was great for shopping and for finding different cuisines - different types of food/snacks/restaurants. It's close to the station and trams - around 10-15minutes. The 4 bed bedroom is spacious and has a nice view of the mall and good for people watching - a lot of people ride their bikes.

The carpet in the hallway needs a deep cleanse to remove the stains. The outside has cigarettes buds everywhere but that's on every smaller streets, so its hard to criticise as it has fallen in the gaps of the road.

The location was perfect for what I was wanted to do during my short stay in Den Haag. Everything was easy to walk to: the train station; the Mauritshuis museum; the theater complex for the dance company; restaurants, especially with Asian food - very near Chinatown; supermarket was super close. The room had a fridge and microwave which were very handy. Room was quiet. Large bathroom.

It was a little difficult to maneuver around the bed to get from one side of the room to the other - very little room to do so, although the room overall was not small. Window overlooked alley and another building. The reception area was on a higher floor than my room, so I never really went by there except to check in and out. Felt a little isolating.

In the centre of the city between department stores, surrounded by food options (indicated on the hotel’s city map) and on direct tram lines fro Centraal or Den Haag HS stations. Room is more than adequate with very comfy bed, bathroom desk, armchair, fridge and close to supermarket and cheaper breakfast options. I based myself here and travelled to other places from Rotterdam to Amsterdam to Haarlem by train.

The entrance is in a side lane opposite Starbucks (initially difficult to locate) and lift buttons need firm encouragement.

The staff are friendly and always ready to give assistance. Being a foreigner I needed help frequently. I paid for breakfasts and the food was always fresh and delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and stocked and surprisingly quiet for being in the center of a big city. The facility is energy efficient.

There is no parking but from what I have seen many hotels in the Neatherlands are like this. The nearest parking is 2 mins away, this particular q park charges by the min or hour im not sure but dont stay there long or it will be expensive. That Qpark is nice when transporting luggage. Best western will offer anyone that stays with them a discount on 1 of 3 different Q-parks near by, closest being a 4 min walk. Just have to prepay online and reserve a spot. With the discount its a great value. The Hotel itself is nice, theres nothing I didnt like. Finding it could be difficult, I almost missed it. There is a sign but the entrance is tucked away on the side in a kind of ally by Starbucks.

Location is top! Next to all the stores, cafes and just steps from the tram station or buses. And from train station den Haag HS in less than 15 min walking. The room was huge (booked for 3 people), super clean and the beds were so comfortable..! Finally the staff, every single person was super friendly, attentive, overall an outstanding customer service! Places to come back for sure!

The elevator cause sometimes takes time to come to the floor cause is the only one in the building.

1. The central location inside the shopping area and on a walking distance to the station was great. 2. The room was perfectly quiet. 3. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. 4. I actually like the fact that the rooms and the reception are slightly isolated from each other, by virtue of the reception being located on a higher floor. It creates a pleasant feeling of living more in an independent studio than in a hotel.

I took breakfast only for one night and truly regretted it. It was pretty overpriced for what it offers and was not even tasty. The choice was minimum. The bakery is certainly better even in a neighbouring Albert Heijn. Yet this is the problem of 90% of the Dutch hotels (no matter how many stars they claim): they do not have a clue about continental breakfast standards or decent catering (nor restaurant service) in general.

Superb location, right in the city centre and only a short walk from Den Haag Centraal train station. The room was spotless and staff were really friendly and helpful. My room was on the top floor and it was very quiet. Good value for money (free wi-fi was a bonus) and would happily recommend.

The single room was a little on the small side, but I didn't spend a huge amount of time there, so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was a little pricey, so I opted for one of the many cafes in town.
