The location of this B&B is amazing, as it is located just a few minutes from most of the attractions in Lucca. The neighbourhood is full of cute cafes, bars, and restaurants. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, as it had a wardrobe, hairdryer, AC, and fresh towels daily. The living room is shared, and that's where you're served a delicious breakfast buffet prepared by the hostess (who is the loveliest woman and the highlight of this B&B). The check-in and parking instructions were very easy to understand, and we got them the morning of our arrival. The parking is in a gated parking lot located just 2 min. away from the B&B. The instructions also recommend some great restaurants, which I think is a nice touch. The hostess was helpful with recommendations as well. We'll be staying here the next time we visit Lucca & would recommend this place. :)

The location is great, and the parking area is very close and helpful.

The bathroom door has some transparent lines of glass where you can see inside. Not confortable for an adolescent. The day we left, in the morning we told the owner that we are going to Pucini museum and she said very friendly "ok", but did not mention to be back at 10:30 sharp when we were supposed to do the check-out. We were late 30.min and our luggages were outside because the cleaning lady came. And the owner was mad. Would have been much easier to tell us not to be late because there is no possibility to check-out later. It was our first time in Lucca, so we did not know how long it will take.

The city of Lucca has a special, old soul. The location is in the historic part of town, just a step away from all the main sights. With a super comfortable room and an even more beautifully designed bathroom, it was the perfect choice. The host kindly helped us with parking, as we were traveling with our own car. Our whole family was also very pleased with the breakfast. Staying at L’Iris B&B was excellent - all compliments to the host. Lucca truly won us over – we highly recommend not missing this gem of Tuscany.

B&B is located in the apartment building and looks more like an apartment with a few rooms and a shared kitchen. The feeling is as if you stay at someone else's home, which is not something negative, just to be aware of. Very steep stairs and no elevator. I didn't like the smell in the room. Bear in mind that if you have to transport luggage on your own (by foot), it takes around 25 minutes to go to the train station.

The breakfast was excellent and the best we had in Italy. The location was perfect and very close to all the sites we wanted to see and to some nice restaurants. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean and large enough for our 3 people. There were some narrow stairs up to the room which were not a problem for us (mid 60s). The room was quiet and we felt very safe in the area.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

This is a small bed & breakfast. My room was nice and equipped with everything I needed. I appreciated the central location, only minutes away from lots of attractions and places to eat and drink. I really appreciated the kindness of the ladies who run this place, they were extremely polite and gave me recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They served breakfast in the morning and it was lovely to have a chat.

If you are older and/ or with mobility issues or carrying lots of heavy bags just be aware there are some steep and narrow stairs to the b&b and no lift

Iris bnb is great,the location is perfect in my favourite street, lots of places to shop, have a gelato ,and wonderful places to eat The location is nice and quite at night Breakfast is plentiful and amazing home made cakes etc The host even bought rice milk for me as I am allergic to dairy She was a great host Room has lovely paintings on the wall

There are quite a few steps to reach the apartment especially when you have spent lots of time shopping

Superb place! The host is very, very nice and we were even able to check in early as we arrived by train from Pisa quite early in the day. The location is as good as perfect, only a short walk from Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. The host gave us some great tips for places to eat, which turned out to be great places. She also served breakfast every morning which was very, very nice - she even made sure that we tried a local specialty, Buccellato. The room was very nice, the bathroom was spotless and spacious. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're going to Lucca.

The only thing we could think of was that they clearly used a lot (!) of perfume when cleaning the room before our arrival. This could probably be dialed back a bit as some people are sensitive to that.

Everything! The location of the apartment is perfect, giving you direct access to Lucca. The room was lovely and everything that you could wish for, including a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The dining area was really nicely laid out and stylishly decorated. The breakfast was just lovely and set us up for the day. The hostess was just really helpful and friendly and eager to provide such fabulous accommodation.

The location was superb, offering easy access to the beautiful city of Luca and all required amenities and attractions. The accommodation itself was cosy comfortable and beautifully designed truly making it a home away from home location. What made my stay even more special was the hospitality and warmth of the hostess Katia. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and made us feel incredibly welcome. Attention to detail and genuine care for her guests truly made the experience exceptional.

Access to property is via steep stairs, this may be an issue for some
