The location is beautiful, the staff are really nice and friendly, and I had the best ever massage and facial ( thank you Margaret ). Food is fantastic- there is also a really good vegan / vegetarian menu - you just have to ask for it

Somewhat underwhelmed by the bedroom. There is nothing wrong with it that couldn't be fixed by a warmer colour palette

• The Estate - Simply WOW. • The Rooms - Gorgeous, well appointed, and the bed was so comfortable. • The Hound (restaurant) - Lady Helen (the Michelin star restaurant that is onsite) was closed the day we stated so we ate at The Hound, the "casual" eatery on the premise. It was absolutely delightful. I would definitely not call the cuisine casual. Flavor profiles were delicious and the dishes were quite elevated. We loved it. • Equestrian Experience - What an incredible amenity. The staff, the horses, the facilities and the trails were wonderful. • The grounds - What an amazing place. It was absolutely beautiful no matter where you looked.

From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and checked in smoothly. When we asked to view another available room, the staff immediately arranged everything without hesitation and kindly accommodated all our wishes, even helping us move our belongings. The rooms themselves are a true work of art – elegant, stylish, and full of character. Dining at the Hound restaurant was an unforgettable experience – the food was so delicious that we kept thinking about it days later. Breakfast, billiards, sauna, cycling, live music, and so many other wonderful activities were already included in the room rate, making our stay even more special. The live music in the evening created an incredible atmosphere, and the estate grounds are simply breathtaking. At check-out, we didn’t have to worry about a thing – our luggage was taken care of, our car was brought to the entrance already loaded with our belongings, and all we had to do was step outside and drive off. The whole experience felt truly luxurious and unforgettable. It was difficult to leave, and we will definitely be back!

We loved the beautiful Mount Juliet Estate with its peace and tranquillity.We saw a heron and a moorhen and her chicks on the Lake Walk. The Manor House staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed great food at The Hound with after dinner drinks at the Manor House where we admired the marble fireplace with its relief of the godess Diana with her hounds .. Breakfast was delicious with views of mares and foals at Ballylinch Stud. Then I was conveyed to the equestrian centre to experience an hours hack around the estate through woods and along the river.My guide Clodagh was super , ensuring my safety whilst allowing me to relax and enjoy the stunning countryside .

Having to leave ....

The bedroom was lovely, the bed very comfortable . The bathroom was lovely and the underfloor heating there was fabulous. The position of our room was perfect for my husband as he is on a stick to walk. It was close to the dining area which suited him. We had a nice from the French window.

The bar area . The selection of wines was very poor and really not great quality. The music on the Friday evening was very loud, so much that we had to leave. The open fire in the bar was lovely. But I wasn’t keen on the bar setting. I like cozier more comfortable settings.

The overall estate is an amazing getaway space for any occasion. There's a lot to do around the spot which is great. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the spa was great - we and a great (much needed) massage! Would recommend it !

We only had breakfast and lunch on the property - this was probably the only disappointing thing for me but it's a small thing. I would have liked more options at breakfast but with the city center only a 20min drive away, we had plenty of options!

Have to say that all meals were excellent with great selection .Particularly liked breakfast.

Must say that the check -in operation could have been much better . On arrival my car was parked and bags brought to our room by the 2 Peaky Blinder " lads . When my wife arrived at check in she was kept waiting for almost an hour as our bags could not be found . The lady at Reception was not exactly customer focused and muttered something about 4 guests called " O'Connor staying in the hotel that day as if this was a legitimate excuse . After staff checking 4 rooms our bags were eventually found . The room that we were given was not the room that we booked. Expected better than this. Tom O'Connor.

Very good service. Room was fantastic. Breakfast was very nice. Fantastic views from dining area.

No jacuzzi in pool area. Dinner was mediocre. Bar was very small in my opinion. Extra charge for a la carte items at breakfast (€18 for Eggs Benedict), very surprised by this.

Incredible experience. Staff were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond (I requested the recipe for their Guinness beer bread, and they wrote it down and gave it to me with an entire loaf to take on our flight home that day). Trail ride was spectacular. We loved playing with the hounds and exploring the property. They were able to arrange last-minute babysitting for us as well, which was an unexpected highlight. We can't wait to go back!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Made us feel welcome and they were very helpful and pleasant. Really wonderful as there were staff from across the globe and yet all were very pleasant- perhaps, and hopefully, due to great company ethos/working conditions.

Could perhaps do with a few more vegan options on the menu at the hound. And also more variety on the meats. The hotel and facilities themselves are quite popular so difficult to use some facilities due to high demand for example was difficult to cycle around. More bicycles or a booking system for these might be helpful.
