requires a lot of maintenance to make sure things on the wall are secure etc. these are all small things, but adds a bit to the shabbiness. In our room (8107), here are the things I noticed: - drawer with the safe is ready to fall off the hinges. potentially dangerous - refrigerator cabinet door does not close and there is inadequate ventilation for the refrigerator if the cabinet door is fully closed - bathroom mirror is held together with duct tape (!) - extra bed that was brought to our room for our kid - broken and bent legs - wall fixtures loose - Pillows could be more comfortable

Spacious, clean and high-tech room, plenty of good food in the buffet, kind and very happy personnel! Executive chef Muthamizhan. V helped us very well in the restaurant!

The restaurant was sometimes too crowded with large groups of guests that did not always behaved hygienically with the buffet. That’s a pity.

I liked this place very much. It's a modern well-designed hotel with smart solution and good spaces. The staff is very welcoming and serviceminded. They really put their effort into make you feel welcome and meeting your wishes. Very good room- and laundryservice. The room I booked was good sized, clean and comfortable with everything I needed. The Balcony bar was a good place for a evening drink, and to relax after a day driving to Madurai and sightseeing. The lounge served good coffee and I enjoyed to sit there working in "abroad homeoffice" in the afternoon. It made me feel very relaxed. The poolarea is nice. Unfortuantely I didn't find the time to use the pool. But it looked clean and I'm sure it would have been refreshing.

The hotel does a great job with most things. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff at the restaurant were kind and courteous. The gym was decent but well maintained. I was very impressed overall. I was travelling from Chennai and they would give some of the best hotels in Chennai a run for their money. I hope they can maintain this standard of quality and that I can stay with them the next time I visit.

There weren’t many things I didn’t like. They only had one restaurant option for grabbing food. And, I wasn’t completely satisfied with all the meals that I had there. Most of them were very good. The breakfast spread was excellent.

Our window was broken and let a lot of traffic noise in The shower head was broken - not up to the Marriott's standards Got our food order wrong (difficulty to be understood by restaurant staff) Closet for clothes in the bathroom (a bit weird regarding humidity) Retractable washing line in the shower - not practical at all A bit far from city centre but still reachable by rickshaw (max 200 INR - tourist price :D)

The room was spacious, comfortable beds and linens. Pillows were great. Bathroom was large and separated, wasn't very fond of that. Nice closets and lovely room robes. The couches were lovely and the office area was comfortable. The food was alright not up to par though there was plenty of variety. The staff in the dining were nice and efficient. The front desk needs better staffing. Just not cordial enough.

1. The shower was really awful, it didn't work well nor did it have pressure. The shower head was so old and dated. 2. The hotel design left it looking like a jail, with blah colors in beige and no greenery to cheer the place up into the Earth movement. 3. The front desk reception were weird and not as cordial as you'd expect.

In overall ,.Excellent in all the aspects ,.One of the very best hotels i have stayed during my extensive travels ,.i would say probably the best .Starting from the Reception and Through out Mr Amir ,.involvement was exceptionally great .,Also Mr Saklash i should mention ,.being very helpful and caring ,.Also Very important to mention ,All at the Restaurant, Great customer care ,.All the way around ,.and very friendly ,. In terms of the Hotel ,.Excellent location /Lovely atmosphere /Very clean all over /Premium room was one of the best i have ever stayed with a great View.,City of Madurai Garlend with COURTYARD BY MARRIOT .

Staff is very friendly and nice. They accommodated us really well with details, organising our travel to rameshwaram and our general well-being. Also helped us with my dad who had mobility issues. Food was very good. Such nice breakfast spread. Chef was very friendly too Special shout out to Janani for nice conversations and giving us travel advise

They can clean those white lounge chairs

We came for our honeymoon and every single member of staff treated us like royalty. I have never been to a hotel where every member of staff was so warm, kind, helpful and approachable- they made our stay so welcome. Added to this, the hotel room, breakfast and facilities were all exceptional too.
