Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden

Excellent room, bathroom and size of bed. Very quiet. Very good air conditioning. The hotel swimming pool was lovely. We didn't eat at the hotel but had drinks in the very pleasant courtyard bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we hired bikes from the hotel for a day's cycling around Dresden.

The hotel staff didn't inform us that we needed to pay for the bottled water which they offered us in our room each day. We thought they were complimentary. The beds were unfortunately rather hot for us as some made with artificial materials are. We also really do wish that a hotel of this quality would provide a kettle or coffee making facilities in the room. It is still not the habit to do this in Germany, but a business and leisure hotel of this size and class should just offer this facility to its clients. Car parking charges were also very steep.

The room was spacious and offered mostly everything. Breakfast was good, but not out of the order good. The location was close to the old and the new town and from the event room you could take a walk at the Elbe. The staff was very nice.

Changing station We paid a lot more because we were travelling with a baby who doesn’t really need anything so a changing station for nappies would be much appreciated. We did it on the bed, which is okay for one night, but not enough for a longer stay. The whole hotel seemed to have only one nappy changing room which was not very well equipped as well. Distances Our room was so far away from the elevator that it was a real hassle to get there especially with a baby. Since the event location was also far away from the elevator leaving the baby with a baby monitor was not an option.

Continental breakfast not overfilled with choices but good. If included in the room price... otherwise 25 euros ! Room was spacious, nice and quiet, the night curtains are effective if you need darkness to sleep well. Location is walking distance (10min) from Neudstadt train station, which connects easily to the airport as well as the train line to Berlin, and walking distance from the center if you look for restaurants and pubs. Safe in the room is large enough for a 16 laptop plus any extra stuff. Personnel was always kind and fast to help with any request made.

Price for breakfast if you didn't ask at reservation time is definitiely too high (25 euro). Several of the foreign TV channels were missing (no signal / insert CAM module). A booked taxi did not show up, but the desk people called another immediately, no delay was caused. I heard some services have extra cost (fitness? sauna?) but I did not use any, just be sure to check in advance.

Everything! Exceptional staff; top to bottom. Spotless facilities and rooms. Check in and out are seamless. The checkout agent was beyond expectations! She was professional, kind, professional and spoke English very well. The view of the Elbe River is beautiful. The easy walk to all the most desirable sites was much closer than expected! Breakfast is beyond belief and everything was available for any dietetic needs. A traveler with us is strictly gluten free. No problem finding a lot of options. Details are very difficult to find in 2022. Not at the Bilderberg Bellevue in Dresden! Top notch hotel and excellent location.

Nice room, clean and close to main attractions

Staff tried to help but at the end we bought a non-existing english language night tour (there were just lits of german speaking ones) although we were told there definitely is one at 8pm (the lady at the hop- on hop- off stop even gave us a ticket). The german speaking night guide laughed at our insistence that there should be one. Very dissapointing. Staff should be well informed before selling packages.

The location was great for exploring both sides of the Dresden city center. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and the tram stop was outside the door, very handy. The room was comfortable and quiet. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay.

Having to pay 7.50 to use the swimming pool and gym seems a bit odd when you're already paying to stay at the hotel. Considering the price per night anyways and the fact that it's a nicer hotel, I think it would be better if this was included.

Everything was perfect the breakfast was amazing the staff very helpful especially Emely Fritsche who was extremely caring to help us with our requests I really enjoyed staying here the environment serene, the AC was superb the rooms comfortable the bed soft and relaxing I will definitely come again

It had great views and was a nice location away from the city centre.

Parking is horrifically expensive. Cheaper to park on the street! Despite requesting an upgrade to a river view and it was confirmed, we were given a room on the 1st floor with no view. The staff were kind enough to move us after I asked for clarification as to why our request was not honored. Just made the checkin process long and tedious!

I stayed twice at this hotel and the rooms were nice and spacious both times. The mattresses and pillows were extremely comfy and I could not hear any noise from the street despite being twice in a room facing the road. I loved that we could simply use the garden door to be on the side of the river and a short walk from the historical centre. We also found great spots for food in Neu Stadt and plenty of scooters nearby when we needed to be somewhere fast. The rooms were clean, bathroom well equipped and it felt like a cosy place to get back to after a lot of walking! The staff was very helpful multiple times, especially a night where we were looking for food after 11pm and found the receptionist very helpful to find us a kettle and some noodles they sold at the reception.

We really enjoyed everything! Everything went well! A cleaning lady knocked on our door multiple times one morning to check if she could help and we had forgotten to put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I suppose it would be better if she had known we had not checked out yet.

The breakfast was excellent, and I was most happy that I was allowed to take it into the room. I don't like to sit and eat with strangers, all by myself, especially when the guests are somewhat older. I was so glad to eat with a movie :)

I locked myself out in the garden, while sun bathing. The door said "please keep closed" which I did, but I could not get back in. I was walking around the hotel in my bath robe to make sure I could get back in. But I said what I had experienced and I didn't have to pay the pool fee. I'm happy 😊
