Victor's Residenz-Hotel Berlin

The breakfast was great, fresh, it had everything from meat to pastry, from "free" to healthy, from sweet to savory, cold and warm. They automatically brought a high chair when we entered with our toddler. The chair was high quality! :) The staff was very friendly and helpful. At first we received a different room from what we booked, but in 10 minutes they changed it for us. The location is simply perfect if you don't want to be in the "main square", but relatively close to the center, restaurants and public transportation. The park just in front of the hotel is huge, it has several playgrounds (even one with water :) )which was very important for us.

We arrived with 3 hours delay (airport/plane problem), very exhausted, with a toddler, around 8 PM. We just wanted to take a shower and go to bed. Due to a central problem there was no hot water in the whole building. They might have announced it in the elevator but would have been kind to be informed upon arrival and not to be "surprised" being already in the shower :( The balconies would deserve some furniture :) Except for this, everything was really very great!

Extremely nice, helpful accommodating staff, great room, very clean, good size bathroom, & the most comfortable beds, pillows & bedding!

We were at first facing the street, which seemed quite noisy, however the receptionist kindly moved us to a garden facing room which was, for the most part, infinitely quieter and much better overall. However the courtyard does share space with a senior residence and sadly there was an older woman who was, off and on, loudly talking & yelling to herself

The staff are INCREDIBLE 11/10!! Friendly helpful kind. I lost my wallet and they helped me a LOT 💕Breakfast was great. Location also and the room super clean!!

The mattress was not comfortable and the curtains don’t cover the entire window (😩) so I slept really badly both nights. Which is kind of the point of a hotel. Bad back + sunshine coming through the windows at 4.30am is not great

The location was excellent, nearby park for a pre breakfast stroll. There are transport links, bus and tram stops yards away. The area felt very safe both day and night. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice that was suitable for most tastes. Staff were all helpful and welcoming.

The beds were harder than we are used to (standard room) No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, only offered option was to buy at the bar. We did ask reception for a coffee maker (5 euros per day) but it did not appear. We had a problem with the room, a nearby fire door slamming a few metres from our door, we were offered a second room in the same position on another corridor which had the same issue. We ended up in an 'accessible room' with hospital style adjustable beds, not quite what we were after but there wasn't a slamming door.

Like being there as my room is a really nice size and I have view of the Park, love the terrace out side the bar area, for me now as I have stayed there several times, it’s good location for the Trams and walking also to restaurants,

For me as I do travel a lot most hotels when staying in larger room, there is always kettle and cups, It’s never problem as I now ask the desk staff, they are always helping in giving me what I need

A big enough room with a nice wide bed. The location is perfect. In the heart of the city and right next to a very big park, which is like a forest really. Very peaceful. Bathroom was good and clean

We could use a couple of disposable slippers. Also there was a general smell in the hotel but not too disturbing. I guess it comes from the carpeting or something

Almost everything. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Like the girls that were making the beds.

There was not much going on. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Coffee in the bar was very boring. Seating was in a way that you couldn't see other people. Not even a small thing to eat in the evening.

I booked a suite with a separate room for work. I asked for a flipchart and some markers to be provided. This was no problem, and the suite was pleasant. However, I had been told there would be a Nespresso machine in the suite. There was none. So I complained. The front desk told me I had been put into a junior suite by mistake. This was the second problem I had encountered, after the car park was full and I couldn't park my car late at night when I arrived. However, the staff were super helpful. They offered me a suite, but I said I was happy where I was. They installed a coffee machine, and gave me a good discount, as well as offering free underground car parking. They were polite, and very helpful. I would stay again.

Obviously, if the mistakes described above hadn't happened, it might have been easier. However, they were dealt with so professionally that I really can't complain. As I said, I would stay there again.

the location! the train station and the tram station is few steps away from the hotel. Good restaurants in the area. friendly staff 🖤

My room curtain! it’s was to small for the window in one side ! even with the blinds down I was unable to dark my room or avoid the sunrise in my face every morning :/

For those of you looking for a location near Prenzlauer Berg, this is not it. It is, however, close to the street called Prenzlauer Berg. Ask your map app to show you something near Schoenhauser Allee, the main drag through the neighbourhood of PB. This hotel is lovely, but it's in a very quiet, affluent, residential area.
