Hôtel Monsigny

It was a little bit complicated to reach the parking near the hotel as you have to drive on a sidewalk where pedestrians walk, so that confuses a little, but the personnel was very helpfull with this matter and showed the way. Breakfast was very good - big choice (fresh orange juice, omlette, bacon, cheese, pancakes, fresh vegetables, sausages, yogurts, croissants, etc.).

Shower in the batroom didn’t have any threshold or a curtain, so the floor of the bathroom was flooded after each use of the shower.

Breakfast was good - a decent selection. Bed was comfy, but not very long. Shower room was nice in marble. Staff were friendly. Location good - close to the main station & about 15-20min walk to the sea.

Bed was a bit short (although I am tall). Shame the roof terrace wasn't open over winter. Hotel and room was clean, other than the previous guest had left a couple of bogies on the wall, which obviously hadn't been spotted, but mostly the fault of the disgusting prior guest.

Good position, 10 min walk down to the beach, Staff friendly.

The restaurant had great food, great service, but the positioning of the restaurant particularly at night when everyone walking thru the middle to enter and leave the hotel. Also on a cold night this made the restaurant cold and draughty. Roof in middle not fully sealed and when raining we were getting wet and had to move tables. Could not charge meal costs to room at hotel, had to pay separately.

it is in a central location and easy to get to from the airport we took a stroll from the hotel down to the beach and it seemed to take no time at all it’s in a good location to walk to a few of the sights and attractions and great links for the Tram line 1 which connects to the other trams and takes you to other buses if needed the restaurant that is part of the hotel but separate does really nice food we had dinner on the last night. the burger was delicious and the calms pasta was also really nice, it really was clams with pasta there was an abundance

I did not get to have omelette until breakfast on the last day and that was by being down just before 8, the omelette was a selling point of booking this hotel, I was swayed by the pic as this implied it was an option I thought for at least the majority of the breakfast period 7-10 but this was not the case. the rest of the breakfast was okay I just prefer having an omelette when away

Location was perfect, further up the main shopping street so was very easy to navigate the city and get to the coast. Street market on the Sunday morning outside was wonderful. Nice big room, comfortable beds. Excellent air con. Very pleasant stay.

Elevator is very small. Safe in the room did not work. Television didn’t work very well, some channels not working and no option to watch Netflix etc Was given a cot baby that was not requested on the booking so it took up a lot of space in the room.

I am quite satisfied with the room itself, with the friendly and helpful staff and almost everything else. Still if you want to stay in this hotel there is a little trick you want to know in advance. If you want to use the bathroom with a closed door go directly to the shower cabin when entering the bathroom. From there you will be able to close the door! Knowing this you will enjoy stay in the hotel completely :) I also liked the locations. Although really close to the Nice Ville station the quarter is quite and clean. Plenty of small food stores and nice restaurants around.

Change the bathroom door so that it opens outside the bathroom, not inside. The elevator is way to small given the amount of rooms and the fact that there seven floors in the building. I was lucky to live at the 4th floor so I just took the stairs to exercise a bit.

I like that the property is quiet and clean

I don’t like the fact that there was not KETTLE TO BOIL ORDINARY WATER NOT EVEN MAKING TEA. If you cannot provide tea in the room please provide kettle so that someone can drink hot or warm water as some of us can no longer drink cold water. But it will be nice if you leave tea there. Also if you can leave IRON in the room to straighten out some clothes that seems to be rumpled in the baggage

Everything was great from the time we arrived till our leaving. Very quick check in on our arrival on Sunday afternoon, didn't get his name but so helpful & efficent. Beautiful room & great balcony space. Just wish we had booked to stay longer... We would really recommend this hotel to everyone it' s beautiful..

There was nothing we didn't like at this hotel..

Good location. Infront of the tram station. Right in center. Also possible to walk in the city center through the main street in the town. Very helpful staff.

Difficult to find parking. I parked in the Q-Park railway station suggested by hotel staff. He mentioned that its a special rate for booking from hotel website, but infact its a same rate if directly booked from Q-Park website also.

Great location, staff speak English. Restaurant staff kindly brought meal to room. Breakfast lots if variety and choice

Dinner plates with food on not cleared away when cleaner came. Had to.bring them down myself Strong toilet system smell in room Miss having omelette freshly cooked like before
