Mercure Dijon Centre Clemenceau

Fantastic from office staff - made restaurant bookings for us, called taxis, helped out with maps, supermarket locations, very nice people indeed. Particularly Ms. Marion and Ms. Ouzna. we drove in from Beaune and parked at the facility - its very centrally located. we found our original booking a bit small and asked for an upgrade - it was immediate and at a small increment. highly recommend their suite.

The bed was supper comfortable, the show was great too. Room was quiet and overlooked pool. Show was good.

Paper cups for tea & coffee and in bathroom. Bathroom cups not replaced each day although used. Bottled water was appreciated but only for on arrival. It would be better if acrylic or glass cups provided for bathroom and porcelain cups for tea & coffee. The paper cups are useless for hot beverages. Toiletries provided were lacking a bit.

The staff was friendly and professional. There is parking on premises, easily accessible to the hotel. The property is situated at the edge of the old town and is easy to drive to. Very clean and comfortable.

Not much at all. The only constructive note would be that the breakfast wasn’t fully refreshed even though it wasn’t very busy, however we found everything we were looking for.

The restaurant and bar area were welcoming and comfortable. Fun bedroom decor and most comfortable beds. Quirky parking area - fun first impression. The staff were all amazing! My son loved the window into the kitchen at dinner.

The hotel exterior felt a little dated and some of the facilities (eg. burgers at the bar) weren’t actually available. As a 4* hotel we had expected a few more extras - the pool is seasonal outdoor and closed for the winter, paper cups rather than glasses in the bathrooms felt a little downmarket, no minibar. These let the experience down.

I had a pleasant greeting at the reception. The room was comfy and well cleaned. It was really calm, though I was at first story. The parking lot (15€ though) is a must if you can afford it.

I had to shut down the air conditioning because it smelled like I was in the kitchen. The electric kettle was clogged up with limescale (I know the devil's in the details, but that's a 4* hotel!)

Very nice staff, great location from the center with a tram stop in front of the hotel. Clean and spacious room.

Our room was next to the lifts and that is all we could hear the whole night. Our friends' room was a bit further away and they slept very well. When booking, request a room as far from the elevators as possible :)

I didn’t est the breakfast . I ordered dinner with room service and it was excellent and quick. I forgot my adapter for my phone and concierge very nicely let me borrow one.

I prefer glass (not paper) glasses. Made coffee and cup was very hot. Would prefer ceramic mug. Wish there was a Nespresso or such in the room. It’d be nice if there were USB ports in room.

lack of accessories in the rooms for 4 stars hotel- cosmetic tissues, creams, shampoos. Towels by the pool and cleaning brushes on the toilet bowl were missing.The coffee maker was stylish, but incomprehensible

Everything was great. The pool is not big as expected from a hotel, but was a very nice touch for mid day refreshing. Hotel is pet friendly and our next door neighbors had a dog, and for us it was a great things too. Even if we don’t have pets we love them and personally super happy to see that they were allowed inside. Breakfast was good, room was very nice and big enough for 2 people. Walking distance to all the touristic areas. Staff was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place

Loved everything but only right after we checked in our room housekeeping just opened the door directly (which was locked from inside) while we were in, and brought towels which she said she forgot to bring in before. Apart from that we had a very nice stay in this hotel

The property is showing its age although In good condition is not as fresh as it was !

Coffee and tea in a twin room although a selection not enough for two normal tea’s (Sorry British) Milk or creamer not enough! Restaurant meals very good and service good Regards Michael Dewey
