Hôtel Le Chambellan

Very nice and helpful staff. A lot of touristic information on-site. The room is an open space form. Toilet and bathroom with shower are separate rooms. Fantastic location very close to the city centre. Very easy to park your car near to hotel but you need to pay. We've stayed only for one night so we paid only by 6 pm and check out before 8 am, but if you'd like to stay longer you probably need to check the parking option in Dijon.

Everyhthing was fine. We've got exactly what we've expect. There is nothing to tell here. Maybe for some of you, the view from the window could be an issue. There is no view from the window. You can see only internal backyard.

A traditional French hotel with interesting features and various sized rooms, all different. The photographs don't show the rooms at their best, so I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly, helpful staff, and the room was comfortable and clean: twin with en suite. Extra blanket and pillow. Some areas in need of care/repair but nothing that interfered with our enjoyment. Conveniently located with city and restaurants a minute's walk away. Good value for money. Nice, relaxed vibe: definitely my style of hotel, but may not be for everyone.

The hotel is very well located! We stayed only for a night, and liked the room and spacious bathroom. We el were in the quadruple room and liked that it has a small separation between the queen bed and the kids bed and they loved that it was 2 separate twin beds in the other area. Also parking on the street in front of the hotel was easy and there is plenty of parking a block away. Very convenient!

Didn’t have the breakfast - bought food at Sainsbury`s - cheaper and nutritious. Very central - like that. We found the rooms so small - couldn’t even put our suitcases down. But we are finding that in a lot of places. Liked that fact that there were restaurants on site, as it rained hard one day and it was convenient to stay in for dinner!

Lovely, good sized room in an attractive and quirky building. In the old part of the town close to historical buildings, museums, shops & restaurants. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean; everything you need provided. Free wifi. Good breakfast. Excellent value. We stayed for just one night this time - will be very happy to stay here again.

Everything was great!

Our room was upgraded and we got a 2 rooms appartment instead room for 3 persons. It was nice and modern, located in another building in front of the hitel.

It was impossible to connect to wifi. The appartment had a kitchenet, but without dishes or at least a coffee pot and cups. The entrance staircase was rather dirty.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Dijon - and Dijon is worth visiting. After parking in the street (meters but acceptable prices - watch the clock!) we were given keys to our room. The hotel is in an older building and we crossed a courtyard and climbed the stairs (watch your head!) and found a larger room than we had booked. Plenty of space for our overnight bags. Everything just as we would have wanted after a long journey. Two minutes from the hotel you are standing in front of the cathedral and are in the heart of the pedestrian zone. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and even live music on the night we were there. We will probably return.

This was our third time staying on the journey across France with our children and our dog and as usual it was great. Really friendly and helpful staff, a very comfortable room and a great location with easy parking.

Staff were very friendly and helpful - changing the room for my elderly mother so she wouldn't have to climb stairs, giving us detailed suggestions for eating out, etc.

A small thing that they can't do anything about, I'm sure, in such an old building, but the drain smelled in our bathroom.

Ideally located a few steps away from the city center. Friendly staff. Room clean and functional. Fair price for the value.

No private parking but large public parking next to the house. Parking limited to a maximum of 2 hours during daytime, so parking meter has to be feed every 2 hours.
