Kyriad Prestige Dijon Nord - Valmy

I like large gated parking. The gate from the parking was not shut overnight, so I was able to do as much trip to the car as I wanted. It was 2am and breakfast room smell delicious. It was a pity that I miss breakfast usually. I have asked for room on the highest floor, and I get that. The check out is at 12pm by default. The room had a cattle. And every facility worked well. Everything was clean. It was possible to open the window.

For a 4 star hotel the outfit is too simple. And the room was small. I had to fight aircon to make it working as I wanted. And I cannot tell that I won.

We stopped briefly for a coffee on our way to Dijon. According to police, In the approx 15 minutes we were away from our leased car, thieves probably used a device to override the electronic locking system of our vehicle and stole all of our luggage, leaving us with only the clothes we were wearing. Reception staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful, even providing us with a mobile phone to call Australia for assistance. Our room was super clean, spacious, beds comfortable although we didn't sleep much, and breakfast was great.

We used this a stopover driving back from Lake Maggiore in Italy to the UK. We chose it for the location, which was perfect for us. Whilst we didn’t have time to go into Dijon, the tram stopped very near so it seems it would be a perfect location for those wanting to explore. The room was lovely - comfy bed, air conditioning, fantastic shower and safe. There were a couple of restaurants nearby which were fine for what we needed. Breakfast was simple but tasty with fab croissants! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Dog friendly hotel. Secured parking spaces. Very friendly staff all over the place, from reception to breakfast to cleaning staff. Walking distance to the shopping park Toison d'Or at the other side of the road, if you can't find parking at the shopping park. Dijon itself is about 15 minutes by car, but this a hotel you usually stay at if you're on a roadtrip, so you'd have your car to go to the center. You can also take the tram, which has a stop close to the hotel at 2 minutes walking distance.

Breakfast could possibly get some more variation, including more local products, what was there however was delicious. Small fridge in the room would be nice.

good location for the motorway as only passing through Dijon on route to northern France. secure parking was good which is a must for us as travelling on motorcycles. room was clean and fresh and of a good size, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary water included. bed was comfortable and air con was good. rooms were quiet and we didn’t notice any road noise for being so close to main roads. plenty of choice of places to eat within a 5 minute walk and hotel receptionist gave us a 20% discount card for 2 local diners. check-in/check-out was simple and quick. breakfast wasn’t included which wasn’t an issue for us as we were leaving early.

Very comfortable rooms, you could see they had been freshly redecorated as most the room and hotel smelled of paint. Great secure parking for guests arriving by car, and close to the tram stop if not. The breakfast food and staff were also great.

We've stayed at the hotel many times before it changed from a Kyriad Prestige, the only thing we missed this time was the coffee and drinks facilities in the rooms which had been removed.

The location was very convenient as a stop over while travelling long distance (Calais to Switzerland via Dijon). There were some nearby (walking distance) restaurants so very convenient after a long day of driving. We booked two rooms and the manager (upon request via bookings “message the property”) allocated our rooms next to each other, and there was a “connecting door” which was very convenient. A kettle, tea/coffee provided. Clean and good sized room. Private parking at the back of the hotel (need to park in the public car park (in front of the hotel), collect the code/card from reception when checking in, and then drive the car into the hotel private parking). Friendly staff. There were some excellent places to visit in Dijon in the city centre….worth visiting before heading out again.

The front desk staff were exceptional, especially the lady who checked us in. The room was extremely comfortable and the hotel was clean. Great restaurants nearby. The hotel is pet friendly and has secure parking. I would highly recommend and we would definitely stay next time on our way to/from the UK.

Constructive feedback - we paid €12 for 1 glass of red wine which was served from the fridge. Please ensure wine is room temperature when served, thank-you.

Very comfortable, slept really well and had a great breakfast. The secure parking was a big plus as we were traveling with a full car. Location was great-just off motorway and straight road through lovely countryside to our next motorway. The staff were friendly and efficient. Helped my husband sort hot drinks for us on arrival.

Well appointed modern room(106),clean and well maintained.The staff were really helpful,were way to early for the 4.00pm check bot they made the room available in a couple of hours.We had secure parking and the tram stop(T2) is only a short walk away this takes around 15 minutes to get into Dijon centre.Also it's possible to walk to the shopping centre Toison D'OR.
