This is a really beautiful hotel. I loved the understated design, the simplicity of the rooms, the much-needed air-conditioning, the salon, the food, the staff - everything was wonderful for a long postponed (Covid) holiday. The location was great too, to be so near to the river and even nearer to the marche des chartrons with its lively atmosphere and excellent choice of restaurants.

I was very fortunate to be on the first floor. My one reservation about the hotel is that there is no lift (the original (beautiful) staircase prevents a lift, so I understand why). I would have found it tiring and awkward to have to go much higher up. Next time I want to visit, I will know to request in advance rooms 1 or 2 on the first floor!

The location was perfect: on a quiet, safe, beautiful street, but close to everything. The property is beautifully cared for and tastefully decorated. All the areas in the B&B were peaceful and intimate, very well thought out and private. We absolutely loved our experience at Casa Blanca and in Bordeaux.

The staff was amazing, the room large a comfortable.

Only one comment, our room was on the second floor, and without elevator it was a bit tough for the luggage on narrow steep stairs.

stunning bedrooms, bathrooms and furniture. extremely well thought of layout , quiet, excellent comfortable large beds. the very impressive house with 4/5 floors and a very impressive spiral staircase would In my opinion match any 5 star hotel, even though this is a b&b it truly is a great place. the breakfast room is very enchanting with lots of plants and soft sofas. breakfast is a feast with typical French jams, croissants, eggs, cheese fruit and yoghurt& cooked eggs if you have room. We rented the bikes for two days which was an excellent idea and way to view the city , which is flat and the drivers are very very patient for cyclists , in fact this seems to be the preferred choice of transport.

I would only suggest that the bath towels could be larger.

It was a cool tranquil oasis in exceptional autumn heat. We returned from hot days of sightseeing to cool citrus water in the delightful atrium. The renovated building is beautiful, spacious and every creature comfort is provided. The breakfasts are superb- we never needed lunch! The hosts are friendly & helpful. Couldn’t fault a thing! We loved our stay. Thank you Gilas!

Casa blanca exceeded our expectations even before we arrived in Bordeaux. I called the b&b as our flights got cancelled and we had to fly into Paris first and then Bordeaux. They were so patient with us and waited until so late that we arrived and even booked us a table so we could have a late dinner! The B&B is just absolutely stunning, the location is perfect and the breakfast was so delicious with fresh pastries every morning! Special thank you to Sergei and Maelle that took such good care of us during our stay and they even packed us a takeaway breakfast as we had to catch such an early flight!

Tucked away and just gorgeous! You'll love this unique stay in a beautiful property and be well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed to fuel for a busy sightseeing day. Spacious room with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities. Do try their wine! Very good! We wish we had more time to stay.

We had the best room, in my opinion, at the very top of the building, that meant it got hot, but hey it's summer! They planned well, however, and we could open up all the windows at night and cooled right off. FYI, no elevator but I loved the stone staircase!

Wonderful location. A wonderful, warm welcome from the owner Gildas and his recommendations for places to see and eat were spot on. The breakfast was amazing. Freshly baked croissants and bread plus the best scrambled eggs. All beautifully presented

Our room was very stylish but I found it too bright in the morning. Bring an eye mask for a good nights sleep!

Such a great place to stay and a great location! Not too far of a walk to the center of the city but if you don’t want to walk you are 5 min away from the tram. The room we stayed in was so comfortable and we had so much room! The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Might be on the higher end but definitely worth it.

Fantastic location with easy access to all parts of the city. Close to tram stop and near the park. Excellent breakfast. Room was huge with lovely terrace. Staff were so accommodating, gave loads of recommendations. Great restaurants nearby with buzzy atmosphere yet the B&B is so peaceful. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.
