Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa

We had a very large suite bedroom and living room that was comfortable and clean. 2 balconies that had what they called a side sea view, which it had but they failed to mention that the main view was of the roof of the next door hotel and all the service areas below which sometimes was slightly noisy but not at night. The Executive lounge was open for our use which was nice with pleasant service. Pool was large with ample room for ever body, and the sun loungers were also plentiful though if you want a special spot you need to rise early an claim it. The Italian specialty restaurant Little Italy was the only meal that had any real flavor.

The only complaint was the food was bland, they should use more salt and pepper. It felt in some ways that we were eating yesterdays left overs. For example, every day Lamb was on the menu under different names, but it always looked and tasted the same, tasteless chunks of lamb on the bone. For an all inclusive package we expected a slightly better choice of refreshments, not high end alcohol but the Strawberry Dakari's were not even frozen just synthetic tasting strawberry juice and no taste of alcohol.

A well run operation in all departments. Food was exceptional in the buffet and Asian restaurants. Plenty to choose from in the buffet and excellent quality. We were on the all inclusive option and everything we wanted was covered. We stayed over the Christmas period so some restaurant options were limited. We had a lovely sea facing double room, which was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Lots of USB sockets, which were very handy.

Building work either side of Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Music in the buffet/gardens could be heard in the sea view rooms from 7.00 am. Lebanese restaurant was disappointing, served meze style we felt neglected here.

My mother was the guest, and she's been there once more. The staff was very polite and the breakfast was very good. The room was spacious enough, and the bed was very comfortable. She had a sea view room, ideal for relaxation. Except for the indoor swimming pool, everything was very enjoyable.

My mother was the guest and, as a solo traveller, she needed to relax at the indoor swimming pool. We called and asked the reception before we made the booking if the temperature of the indoor swimming pool is suitable for swimming as it's so cold outside. There was one swimming pool divided in two small areas (salty/sea water and the normal one). It was not enjoyable as the water was not so warm.

Close proximity to the beach and pool, easy bus or taxi ride to paphos harbour and town, plentiful food and lots of good options, we really enjoyed the on site restaurants, particularly Hawas. Staff very friendly and we had the most relaxing week.

The place was fantastic. Food was ok not really 4 stars . Nice rooms.

We did not like the fact that the service was not attentive. There were a lots of Managers who do not really knew what is going on. Which reflects on the staff. If the guys were trained would be different. The place was boring. The only fantastic was the Greek night with Greek music. We came to Cyprus not to listen Italian music. Also the water in the pool was really cold we were swimming in the sea.

Buffet food was good, the room was nice and clean, the view from the balcony was amazing, plenty of lounges around the pool/beach. The staff were very polite and helpful. Great value for money in late April/early may.

As other people have mentioned towels in the bathroom are a bit thin, and the bathroom ventilation wasn't great - it got really humid after a shower. Indoor pool area has limited spaces and the indoor pool is tiny. People "partying"/drinking on lounges next to the pool and making a racket in up until 2-3 o'clock at night were not approached by staff, making it difficult to sleep at night.

Very professional staff, clean rooms and good location. It was my husband's bday and i have taken a balloon bouquet to the hotel (2 days prior our reservation) and i have asked them to put them in the room prior our arrival. They did not only put the balloons in the room, the have also decorated the room and they provided us with sparkling wine and a cake. Thank you for all your kind and professional assistance!

We got upgraded to a cottage which was nice but a bit dated. We arrived at 5pm and still had to wait an hour for our room , hence the upgrade. Pools were nice. We had a lovely sea view with our own terrace and sun beds.

People that have a certain status are allowed to book their sunbed for the duration of their stay. When looking for a bed you have to look at the back of each to check if they had tags on it! So embarrassing when you see all the empty beds and you realise it’s booked, even though they might not even use it! At least half are booked, I’ve never seen this system before in all my years of travelling. Very poor lighting in cottage. We was all inclusive which was ok compared to the hotel we’d just came from across the road. Very repetitive choices with random salad items next to hot food. Couldn’t get booked into the restaurants as no availability, as we was only staying 3 days we had to stick to the buffet! Snacks were very poor and sandwiches in the evening consisted of a plate full.

the hotel is at a great location, right in the beach front and just a 10 minute walk on to the harbour. the food and drink is also great, you also get a chance to upgrade on the drinks if you like. the rooms are a great size and very clean. there is also a great nightclub in the hotel as well

I’ve stayed here a number of times and never been disappointed, however this week there were no sun beds because all were reserved. and the pool bar pool was absolutely disgusting. there was black stuff all in the water and no one attempted to clean it out. this is usually where we would relax with a drink, but we didn’t feel like we could this time with all the dirt in there.

few bicycles for tourists, even if they cost and are not free, there should be more, music from the pool and the bar, evening music from the lobby, all too old to fall asleep. DJ who just sits at the table is not a DJ is just someone who came with music tools, a trick.And coffee, that its just whater with something like coffe inside. You should have a good coffee maker. An espresso or a good cappuccino would pay tourists for sure, we don't all want to drink only beer. It's just a personal opinion.
