Coast Chilliwack Hotel by APA

I like how clean the place is. How friendly the staff were and the housekeeping, maintenance staff. The room was tidy and clean. The bidet was a treat. WiFi was strong and connected well. Location was centre of the city which was very accessible. Overall, The best for money.

The fitness centre is missing a few pairs or a piece of dumbbells, equipment and bench;the whirlpool jets seems not to be working as well as the sauna, or I did not bother asking the front desk. The hotel is built I think in the 80s or so, I find it should adopt to new technologies like Bluetooth, and USB adaptors for plugins like phone and tablet.

I left a note at the desk for the manager. I suggested that if you want clients to decline cleaning daily, (which is an excellent idea) you need more towel racks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. Also, with an aging population, the bathtub setup offers no hand hold or safety bars - nothing but a shower curtain which makes slipping very risky. The tub mat is hidden behind hanging hand towels. Table surfaces were missed, drink rings and a bit sticky. (mostly it's the safety feature to prevent falls that should be of the greatest concern.

A very comfortable spacious room with a lovely view of the pond. We were very fortunate that the front desk was able to make the room available to us a few hours before check-in time of 3:00 pm so that we had plenty of time to get ready for our grandson's wedding at 3:30 pm. Thank you! It was very handy having a small fridge for perishables.

The coffee (although Starbucks Cafe Verona) was not nice to wake to. I think the paper cup flavoured the coffee or the coffee machine didn't do the blend justice. I took the second portion of coffee home and prepared it in our machine and it was fine

I didn't arrive with expectations. I wait and see what happens. I have no major negatives about the Coast Chilliwack Hotel. It's clear the upper management knows and cares about what they are involved in.

Please inform clients about the elevators. How do they operate? First the card then the floor. That info. The elevator is the first unknown after check in. Knowing how to not operate the elevator can feel like fun to some people. However, knowing how to operate the elevators suggests things are going well. Suggest pool times to clients at check in. Suggest restaurant operation times at check in. Very minor stuff and of no consequence perhaps. You do the math. You asked.

Staff were lovely! friendly inviting atmosphere! clean refreshing room loved the fact the pool , hotub and sauna were very nice and clean. Fantastic they stay open later. And we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I was felt that I could hold my head high when saying to invited company I booked us a luxury hotel and you're really going to enjoy yourselves.. you guy made me look good! And did not disappoint me

This hotel is in the heart of downtown. Was hesitant to book because of the area. (Was safe and had visible security even early morning for our walk. ) But alas we had our dog so needed a pet friendly hotel. This place is a gem. Clean, quiet, large windows, big tv, beautiful pond, really nice staff, on site restaurant was real good and had patio dining ( gov’t restrictions no indoor dining). They were busy but was able to give us room a little early. Added bonus: had the bidet toilet seat like in Japan and Korea! What class! Love this hotel, highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Try it you’ll love it!

Room was cold ( had to turn on heat) and bathroom floor was freezing.

Super clean, friendly staff, food in the restaurant was very good (7 out of 10). Comfy beds

Location: homeless camp next door. Could not let the kids walk the hotel grounds and advised not to by staff. Otherwise hotel was perfect for our needs. Would use again. Would be nice if they had something to hang our bathing suits etc as came for the famous waterpark. Not a fan of the electronic bidet toilet thing they got but in saying that the wife and kid loved the hot toilet seat lol

I really enjoyed the stay in APA's Coast hotel. For a small town stay the level of service was exceptional. The location is nice - there are groceries, cafes, etc. nearby. What I especially loved about the location is the green fields with a big pong nearby which made my family's evening. Also worth to mention there is a kid's playground near the pond

For my personal taste the mattress was too soft and the pillow were too high, but I got the impression that it is a Canadian problems in general, same as the lack of windows to open widely and ceiling lightning in the room.

Nice view of the park and pond from our room, not a great location, was concerned about our car being broken into. Room amenities were good and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable.

Very expensive for the location, not worth the price paid. Restaurant prices also seemed very high, we had a great dinner off the property.

Pool are was nice and open late, same with the restaurant and food was excellent. The washrooms were nice and spacious with amazing facilities and the location of the hotel was awesome!

I have never stayed in a hotel where the movies were $25.00 each to rent! There were no Other options to rent older movies for a More reasonable price, my son (14) was sick in bed for 2 days and literally had to watch news all day and night.
