Perfect location, just a short stroll to the main square. The building was lovely and the staff smiley and helpful. The room we ended up having (changed rooms due to air-con not working) was really nice and comfortable. Room 227 had a really comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Being able to park underground was appreciated being so close to the centre and so many other hotels not offering it.

The hotel doesn’t offer any food services other than breakfast which seemed pricey. There is not kitchen for lunch or dinner. It would be nice to offer guests a few simple choices for room service or to eat in the bar or garden. We actually went to a sandwich place and came back to the bar and ate our sandwiches in the garden along with drinks from the bar which they didn’t object to. My husband and son were disappointed there were no gym facilities at all. Parking was €30 per day which seemed a bit too high.

Our room was very spacious, with large opening windows providing lovely views of the characterful streetscape. The position was perfect, a short walk from the historical centre. The staff were very helpful and professional. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of hot and cold choices. We would highly recommend Martin’s Klooster.

The two armchairs in the room were very badly stained /dirty. They spoiled the ambiance of what was otherwise a beautiful suite. They should be replaced/reupholstered immediately. There was nothing else to dislike about this lovely hotel.

Very clean and spacious room with all nececary facilities. This hotel is a beautiful combination of modern and old architecture. While the building is old, you don't feel like you're staying in an outdated location. Definetely give the bar a try!

The on-site parking is more expensive than other public parkings in the city. Parking on the street close to the hotel is nearly impossible so you will be spending upwards of 40 euro's extra for your parking. Public parking garages are about 15-20 minutes walking.

Great location with respect to center (100m away from pedestrians-only area, super easy and only a few minutes to walk anywhere). Two rooms with family with adjoining doors (creating an apartment). Quiet area, good sleeps, modern and spacious bathrooms, nespresso coffee machine, good size windows (light). Nearby underground parking (paid).

Not that I didn't like it, but breakfast was not included. This was clear at time of booking, and thus not a problem at all. However, with a family with kids, 23 EUR per person is a bit steep (youngest will eat one croissant and be full). Perhaps something for the hotel to consider. Either way, plenty of breakfast places in the nearby city center. I understand the hotel's breakfast buffet is great, and I don't doubt it, as everything else associated with the hotel was great too. We chose to do something else.

Beautiful property with a lovely bar. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Good location for central Leuven

Our room was quite small and the shower screen hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was a shame there was no coffee making facility in the room, Nespresso machines were available in other rooms. The cost of €23 per person for breakfast is very steep as is the garage parking of €30 per night. Cheaper parking is available a 6 min walk away.

I loved this hotel, it’s perfect location, 2 minutes from the centre but once you slip down the side street into the hotel it’s so quiet. The garden and courtyard to sit in are beautiful and relaxing and the additional buildings while modern are still sympathetic to the original.

We had a beautiful big room, the bathroom was a little dated but everything worked perfectly fine so this is a very minor point.

Stayed there before. Fantastic locale. Love the historic setting. Really like the in house bar.

I was upset that the price on Booking did not include breakfast. I always make sure to book a room with breakfast and I thought I had done so this time, but I was told that because I booked through Booking, breakfast was not included. the breakfast per person, which was substandard was 23 euros per person. Ridiculous. That was the only problem so next time do not book through Booking if you want this hotel (at least that was what I was told).

Martin's Klooster is a lovely hotel, our room was very modern and well equipped - the bathroom in particular was great. A few minutes walking to the centre of Leuven, but in a pleasant and quiet spot at the same time.

Only feedback would be that everything extra was just more expensive than it needed to be - down to the parking, which (whilst convenient) is 30 Euros per night.

Great location near the Grote Markt and a spacious room! We’ve stayed in different hotels in Leuven before and Martin’s Klooster is our favorite so far.

After check in, we got to our room and noticed it hadn’t been cleaned yet. That’s ok, mistakes happen. The front staff handled our issue immediately and upgraded us to a bigger room. I appreciate the customer service.

Beautiful setting and located within minutes of the center of town. The building is beautifully adapted to a hotel. The rooms we had each had different, but equally nice, views into the gardens and the side streets. It was very tranquil and relaxing.

The sink in one room did not drain well and the shower in the other room also did not drain well.
