The hotel is located in the middle of the city center, which is great. The beds and bathroom were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I think the value for money (room-wise) is really good.

The rooms were quite small. There was not much room to open the suitcase in the room. Furthermore, I think that the breakfast was not really worth the money. It seemed like it has been more extensive in the past (for example, there was an instruction to make waffles, but the waffle iron was missing). The last drawback is that you cannot really open a window during the night due to noisy outgoing public (which you can expect in a lively city center of course), but luckily there is an airco installed in the room!

I was quite pleased with its location and the friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently situated, and the staff members were welcoming and attentive.

There were a couple of downsides to my stay. First, there was noticeable noise coming from adjacent rooms, which made it somewhat challenging to relax in peace. Second, my room, which was located on the first floor, had a less-than-ideal view overlooking the parking lot and the fire escape. Another downside worth mentioning was the absence of a mini-fridge and an electric kettle in the room.

The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to from the railway station, via bus, taxi or on foot. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The main sights, bars, cafes restaurants are within five minute walk and the are coffee shops, bar, restaurants all around the hotel as well as two shops.

The only annoying thing was the lift was out of action for planned replacement, I had been contacted about this before arrival and asked for and got a room on the first floor, thanks to the staff for that.

We are currently on a 1700km bicycle tour from Utrecht to Munich. Every night we are staying in hotels and often the are IBIS Hotels. I wish to bring to your attention the excellent service we have had at the IBIS Leuven. We were fortunate to encounter Githa at the front desk. Her English skills were excellent. This knowledgeable, professional and friendly lady was able to assist us in all our travel needs. First she arranged for secure overnight bicycle storage for us, it’s a long walk back to Canada if our bikes go missing. Secure overnight storage is very important to the success of our adventure. Second she assisted us in taking the bikes to the secure bike lockup. Third we needed laundry service and she assisted us in locating and providing map directions to the laundry facility. We were easily able to find it with her assistance. Fourth we needed a bike shop to fix a mechanical problem with one of the bikes, again she helped us by locating and directing us to a local shop that helped us solve the mechanical problem. Fifth, she has us full information on how to join the Ibis program and get 10% off future bookings. She has great knowledge of the services in the local area, she speaks excellent English and she was kind and patient with us. She did all this while maintaining a friendly, professional and courteous manner. Vary rarely do I encounter hotel employees who take such great care of their guests. When I do, I always like to say a huge thank you for a job well done. I have travelled by bicycle in Europe for seven years, staying at IBIS and other hotels. I have to say Githa’s commitment to customer service is the best I’ve encountered. Please pass along my deepest appreciation and thanks to Githa for a job well done.

the bathroom had a bad odour

The situation of the hotel is excellent, the property of the room also, it’s pleased to find water in the room on arrival, also air conditioner was ok and so helpful.

May be some difficulty to join the hotel after leaving but the manager was quiet reactive.

First of all, amazing service - personnel was more than polite and really helpful. Second, amazing breakfast - full of delicious, fresh rolls and croissants. Third, hotel is very clean and very comfortable.

There were a lot of problems with Wi-Fi, so I would not recommend this place to anyone, who needs fast and reliable access to Internet all the time.

When we checked in, the receptionist was super helpful and friendly. He told us exactly how to get to the bus station for the concert and was super patient when answering our questions.

When we checked out the guy at reception (different from the check in guy) looked at my boobs, instead of my eyes. This was irritating and brought down your overall score slightly.

The room was comfortable - it had airconditioning, comfortable bed etc. The receptionists (on both days) where very helpful and friendly. The area was in walking distance of the centre of leuven with a nice food market set up a few steps away :)

Flexibitly, also I could decide about getting breakfast in the morning, no prior notice was needed

The room is a little small, when you open door, it opens right to the end of the bed. For one person is enough but I don't think it would be enough space for 2.

Tripel Karmeliet on tap in the bar. Almost opposite a superb pub/bar called Malz. Well located for other attractions too.

Could be a larger selection of hot breakfast items but breakfast was pretty good anyway.
