Mantra Gladstone

The restaurant was great, we ate there for both dinner and breakfast, and it was really good.

It was not until AFTER checking in and receiving the room key, that they told me the lift was broken and we would have to walk up 2 floors to our room. My dodgy knee did not like this and I would have stayed somewhere else if I had known. Friends of mine had a 93yo in the party and they put them on the 3rd floor and told them to walk up the stairs!! The lift is broken down for SIX WEEKS , not just a day or two.

Rooms are great. Soundproofing takes away the usual sounds through the walls. And surprisingly quiet for a hotel with heavy clunky doors. A comfy bed, nice kitchen with washer/dryer. Easy undercover parking. Two great restaurants including one buffet style. Really feels like a holiday. Not sure if there is a pool but I didn't see one. Probably the most elegant hotel we have in Gladstone. A stones throw from a small beach too. Most of the staff are friendly.

The bars on the barrier on the patio are a little prison like. I think there should be a glass barrier instead. I had a few glitches with my card not registering my stay when I extended it. And the lift is a bit slow and has a mind of its own. It's quicker to take the stairs. Food is a bit pricey but the restaurants have a nice atmosphere.

Rooms are superb well worth the money and very well maintained, the buffet dinner was not worth the money, not much variety , found the staff at bar highly rude , the staff at check in where absolutely professional and go out of their way. Very stunning when you walk in, very well designed. The roof top needs TLC new furniture as it was all past used by date and damaged, just didn't feel inviting to sit out there compared to how beautiful the test of establishment was.

The bar staff need attention as I found them very rude. Need more variety at the buffet dinner as I found it not to cater for different dietary needs.

Great location and very fancy. My kids were very excited to stay in such an upmarket looking hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms lovely and clean. Restaurant on site. Plenty of parking. We only stayed a night but I'd definitely stay again next time im in Gladstone

We got breakfast from the buffet served as room service and unfortunately it was not nice. It was the only negative thing of our stay. Glad we didn't pay for the buffet breakfast . Didnt eat dinner on site so can't speak of the rest of the meals.

Everything. Clean, spacious, well appointed. Bedroom was beautiful and immaculate. Bathroom had a rain shower head from the ceiling, so amazing! The hotel had a bar and restaurant on the ground floor which had excellent food including a buffet. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The beds were super comfortable and their air conditioner worked well. Super quiet location, no road noise. Room divider between beds with timber and curtain allowed for extra privacy. Excellent experience and will stay here again next time for sure.

The gold-out bed wasn’t made up and had no sheets. Had to go and source some myself and make it up. No other negatives, the place is fabulous.

I love how comfy the room is, the bed, ease of parking. Having two restaurants, and the decor. The staff in the main are very friendly. And once you arrive you don't have to go out again to eat or drink it's all there. I love that it feels like a little resort and you forget your on top of Barney Point.

I'm always a little annoyed how much it's either not on the list of venues when I'm looking to book, or the price goes up and down alot. Otherwise my only complaints are the lift has a mind of its own and doesn't always work straight away and I wish they'd secure the covered parking especially in an area not that far from a less than favourable part of town.

I loved the Mantra so much I try to stay here as much as I can in Gladstone. It's definitely the most refined and most well managed of the local hotels. The beds are ultra comfy. I love the layout of the room and the restaurants are good. The staff is a mixed bag. Sometimes you can get an ultra nice person. Sometimes not. But all in all I wouldnt stay anywhere else in the area.

The only minor issues were a few issues with my room card but nothing major. My biggest concern is not finding availability as much as I'd like. Also the carport is underground but not really secure its open at the front and there seems to have been some attempt at a boom gate but that now seems inoperable.

Good sized, modern, clean rooms. Very comfortable beds and great wifi. 5 minute drive to town centre and 8 minute drive to the Marina. Good amount of parking available. The reception staff were really friendly and very welcoming. Stayed here pre / post Heron Island and both stays were great.

The buffet dinner at the restaurant had very cheap steak but the buffet food was a little odd.

The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really nice, and there was heaps of storage. Beds were comfy and there were heaps of pillows, which I love! Wi-Fi was good. There is undercover (but not secure) parking.

There were no plates or cutlery in the room, although the staff were happy to give us some. No mirrors except in the bathroom.

Room was nice and clean, good location tacked right on Yaralla Sporties Club, parking was nice and close: We didn’t take advantage of the room service options, but we liked that we could’ve

Disappointed that there was no microwave in the room, we were travelling with an infant and could’ve used one to warm up/sterilise bottles. Maybe our fault for not noticing it missing from the amenities list
