Icon Park Hotel, Chiang Mai- SHA Extra Plus

General manager, who ia called 'Mesa Kamonrat' was extremely kind to the all guests. In particular I was moved by how he showed sincerity in solving the difficulties of the guests. I can say that he is the best hotelier who I have ever met before. In addition breakfast was excellent.

It’s very clean and minimal. We love the buffet breakfast and free water. Also, I highly commend the hotel manager, Mesa! He’s very kind, accommodating and helpful. He’s the best!!!

Excellent customer service by extremely helpful and polite staff led by Mesa Kamonrat (front office manager); excellent breakfast (can order different menu) cooked by an amazing chef - she even made an exclusive dessert only for me the day before I checked out (thank you!); room was huge, comfortable and clean; a very convenient location, right across the Old City - can easily access night bazaar, markets, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. On arrival, I got a free room upgrade, too. Will definitely be my first choice when I go back to Chiang Mai! Strongly recommend it!

Fantastic location by the north end of the Tha Phe Gate. Right by the entrance to the old town. Large comfy bed. Clean room. Plenty of light. Aircon works very well. The staff were incredible. Mesa, a man I met during my last stay at the hotel in 2019 before covid, remembered me - even going so far as to call me by my nickname. I was flabbergasted. The staff are excellent and very attentive. Highly recommend this hotel for any travellers looking to stay in Chiang Mai.

The shower was lukewarm at best, but considering the heat, I wasn’t too phased.

This Hotel is best described by the fishtank they have in the lobby. It's a giant fish tank with fish in it and otherwise nothing! It gets cleaned every day, but it's just empty. The hotel is very clean, spacious and the beds are comfy. Bathrooms clean, location right next to the city center, great! It's a comfy Hotel in a great location that could so easily be more if they just amde the space feel less sterile.

But there was nothing IN the rooms except the bare necessicties. If they just hired an interior designer to fill the rooms and hotel with some knicknacks, art, a table, lamps this would be a high class Hotel.

Staff are so nice, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and looks very appealing. The location was great! We could walk to the Sunday night market. Lots of lovely cafe all around. We were in Chiangmai for workation and asked for extra chair in the room. They even prepared a working table and 2 extra chairs which were so nice and also upgraded our room. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The gym was quite small.

We chose the biggest, 60m2 room and it was really great. Facing the north and back of the hotel was perfect, as there is a bar in front of the hotel. Furniture was really good, room was clean. We both also worked, but had enough space for it. Wifi was good, but there is a logging page. We caught some promotion price, so it was pretty cheap for such a great room.

I missed electrical socket and some more hooks in the bathroom. Safe was for nothing as it was just standing in the wardrobe, not attached to anything.

It was right off the canal which was nice to walk next to. Big open rooms. Nice reception area.

Rooms were not noise proof. Could hear neighbors somewhat. Also music outside some nights. However, this was in previous reviews so we were expecting it.

Shampoo n bath gel smell nice. Bed is clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and comfortable to approach.

Rooms of 3 is too empty. There is no coffee table or rest area in the room. Only 1 seating chair is provided.

Very good breakfast (lady prepares few breakfast dishes fresh just for you based on your order), helpful and nice staff. Rooms clean, nicely furnished, nice bathroom. Just outside of the old city walls.

Hostess bar just in front of the hotel so if your room is located on the side of the building facing the old town - forget about going to sleep before the band stops playing (23-23:30 these days) and on top of it there is a busy street behind it. Our room was changed but still did not fully solve the problem.
