Top value. I chose this place because everything was booked in nearby Mendrisio and it was the only place still available. In fact it's a gem. The restaurant is amazing (and full of local people and families in the evening, which is meaningful) and my room was top. Plus, you can walk/hike to Mte San Giorgio from there if you're after breadthtaking views. It's some minutes from Mendrision with the train, and the staff let me the keys hidden outside for my late arrival. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, good size for room for our family (triple) had air conditioning even though it’s an old building. Location is excellent. Cleaning and restaurant staff were excellent. Close transport links (100m) and near to public beach (circa 500m).

Only downside we were not able to get the correct power converters. Not the end of the world as we used the USB on the TV to charge phones.

Quite a long way from motorway juction, although almost underneath it. (motorway) Car park is a public park just next to the hotel with a pass. Very nice room with excellent fittings. We had a fantastic Pizza in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Well worth another visit

Climate of the place, nice location, friendly personal and amazing food.

You need to look at this pale a bit different. If you look repited service of network hotels it's not it. Here you fill history of the place and I really enjoyed the place.

The food at the restaurant in the hotel was superb, everything fresh and tasty, the restaurant was full of people. People working in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and you feel like they treat you as a family. Very close to the train station.

Hotel requires a bit of refurbishment, as quite outdated. However was very clean.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Location was close enough to Morcotte. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it was full when we arrived so i assume it is good.

Beds were little hard but I'm used with the memory foam mattress. Parking was full so i had to park at a nearby train station.

great restaurant on ground floor. However this can be lively at night if your room window is open.

I have stayed here many times, so I find the positives out weigh any negatives.

Basic but comfortable room that has everything you really need, friendly people who did their upmost best to help (even with limited English). The restaurant had very good food. Breakfast buffet was good too.

I liked how nice Carlo was. He was very helpful.

I didn’t like that the people next to us kept trying to open our door in the middle of the night.

Location was absolutely beautiful. Annalisa at the front desk was very helpful with great suggestions of activities for my sons and myself.

Room was a little dated.
