The room was modern but charming with a little private sitting area and a terrace outside. The breakfast was very good though simple… good bread and coffee. The terrace overlooked the courtyard outside the restaurant so it isn’t completely quiet… a problem if you want to go to bed early. The service from Matteo and Francesco was very attentive and helpful. All things considered, the room and breakfast was great value… only slight issue was the dinner, which is at the usual Swiss price level!

The location of the hotel is perfect, nestled in a charming and picturesque setting that is peaceful and tranquil. The intimate atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. The rooms are not only attractive but also thoughtfully designed for comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic dinner at the hotel's restaurant

There was nothing not to like.

The location is great, lots of activities to do around. We took the last room available, which was very comfortable, stylish and well equipped. However, it was relatively small (although not tiny), and therefore not great for spending a whole afternoon or morning. The hotel has other larger rooms, which looked more appropriate for this. In any case, the hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The stay in the hotel combined with daily activities (hikes, museum, etc) make for a great holiday in the area.

A charge of 7 Fr was levied for a carafe of "acqua normale" in the restaurant. This was billed as "acqua del fonte di Meride". In my opinion it was perfectly drinkable tap water. This kind of overcharging indicates a meanness which does not tally with the spirit of the hotel. The room lacked a fridge Although a kettle was provided, there were no cups and the supply of tea and coffee was not maiintained.

We like the style of hotel the combination between modern materials and the historical building The staff were super friendly and helpful. The fresh air and quietness during night are priceless

Everything is lovely! The staff, the food, the cozy rooms in this authentic house, we loved it!

The hotel could think of collaborating with the surrounding wine-makers to provide wine-tastings or proposals for wine-tours. Other than that, nothing negative.

Location and hotel was amazing. Very chill and had a beautiful courtyard. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating, would most definitely come back for a visit=)

Beautifully restored old villa, lovely post-modern design concept with attention to detail, amazing terrace/ balconies, and great restaurant with delicious authentic dishes.

Nothing, except maybe that the room was a bit chilly.
