Exe Gran Hotel Almenar

We have stayed at the Hotel on four occasions and like it very much. The suites are spacious and good value for money. It’s well situated for the motorways which is important for us as we are normally travelling onwards to the Northern areas. Last year to Galicia and this year to Northern Portugal. The underground parking is great and very secure. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. Staff are efficient and friendly.

It’s a shame the restaurant is not always open for Dinner. We are there one one occasion and the food was excellent. The breakfast is very good but sadly the food is barely warm. Would benefit from some warming devises like a Bain Marie.

Spacious suite with balcony. The tortilla de patatas at the breakfast was delicious and seemed homemade and not the industrial kind. The staff was also very amable and responsive!

The place could use some extra maintenance. The window blind shutters were missing in one of the suite's rooms. And one led lamp was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. Also, the AC central unit was just on the balcony and could be heard from one of the rooms. Lastly, the suite was on the ground floor, and the door isolation was not good enough; I was woken up by the noise of people talking in the hall at 7 am, which was a shame!

Breakfast was very satisfying and good. Spacious and comfortable room. A lot of closets!! Nice hotel staff who works hard. We got upgraded to Junior suit with no extra charge because the hotell was fully booked.

The breakfast area could have been I bit more cozy and not so strong lights, but you got used to it and the breakfast was so good so we didn’t mind in the end. We ordered from the menu when arrived late one night, but the burgers we got were almost raw.

Very clean and well appointed rooms. Quiet. Great air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Staff was uniformly great. I had come from the Westin La Quinta in southern Spain where my room was regularly filled with nauseous cigarette smoke day and night and the management was terrible about dealing with it and were generally aloof and disconnected. This place was the opposite. I will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast good, room very nice & spacious, more like a suite. Staff helpful & friendly, and their English excellent. For me, it was very close to the client site so useful location. Apparenly a good neighborhoood. Adjacent highway never caused me any disturbance at all. Heating very effective (maybe too warm, but aircon solved that once radiators turned down!)

No kettle for tea/coffee in room, but staff will serve coffee on request. No food served evenings. Not well situated for other food / offsite facilities if you don’t have a car.

good secure parking (free), very clean and welcoming, arrived Sunday so no restaurant however, cross railway, walk 300m 2 very good places to eat, not a lot of choice but wholesome. A Carrefour easy walk too. we stayed 1 night, next time will be longer, easy access to Madrid (train/taxi/bus all v near). staff very helpful and smiling (spoke excellent English). overall excellent hotel.

nothing, some building works across road gave us the 8 o'clock wake up but that's not the hotels fault.

This hotel is a real 4 stars. the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. the service is good with very clean rooms. I always check under the bed at the departure and this time, I found the place neat ad clan. First time in a long time.

There are many restaurants in Las Matas 15 minutes walk distance. However a snack or a simple room service could be an easier option. The restaurant is under restauration and I believe this will enhance the experience for my next stay there.

The hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stay when travelling on the A6. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally good and the staff really pleasant and very helpful.

The restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday night but the hotel web site does not say this just that it has a restaurant. After driving for 7 hours the last thing you want to do is drive again to find a restaurant for dinner.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are more like apartments. Plenty of space and very comfortable. The location is convenient to get onto A6.

It’s quite a noisy location although the staff kindly gave me a quiet room. There was construction happening in front of the property and the drilling was noisy from quite early. The cleaning staff are very noisy as well. The walls are thin so you can hear every word next door. No tea or coffee. A kettle in the room would be nice.

We chose the hotel due to its proximity to outlet shopping at Las Rozas Village and the The Style Outlets, and to its free, undercover onsite parking. It was 5-7 minutes drive from the outlets and easy access to/from the highway. We chose a Junior Suite for our 3 night stay - which was HUGE - and were very pleased with the extra space. Our room was very quiet, overlooking vacant land at the back of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed (perhaps due to Covid) at the time we visited so was only open for breakfast, not dinner. But there are eating places a short drive away and the hotel staff were happy to recommend options. They also allow food delivery.
