Hotel Segara Agung

The staff were very warm and welcoming. The pool area was lovely. It is in a very calm and quiet location but just a few minutes from the beach and bars. The room was basic but comfortable.

The wifi really needs attention here, it was constantly losing signal which may sound nit picky but we struggled to book grab taxis to get us around due to the poor connection.

Friendly staff, clean, nice breakfast, fantastic pool and gardens, short stroll to beach and bars and restaurants. Great location. Good wifi, would defiantley recommend this hotel. Good local food too. Night life a short stroll with live music. We will definitely be back. Adam and Tamara

What an amazing place! This hotel is located in an amazing location right near the beach, but tucked away enough that it isn’t to noisy. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Bali. The pool was perfect and the rooms were very large. I have read other reviews re the bathrooms being sub par. We didn’t have an issue there is a shower over bath, which may not work for everyone. They’re definitely not the most fancy bathrooms, however they are still usable. We will definitely be back to hotel segara agung!

If I had no be super picky the bed was a little hard but honestly there really wasn’t anything negative about our stay! :)

The location super close to the beach and to the city center, to bars, restaurants, shops, etc. was really amazing. The staff really caring, nice, available, water always refilled in the room, daily cleaning with change of towels. Breakfast good. Room comfortable with nice terrace. The common area and the pool really well maintained. I felt at home and would go there again and again.

The rooms are a bit dated, door doesn’t close perfectly, a bit smell of old, and only one electric socket in the room to charge phone and all electronics (in the bathroom). Nothing too bad though.

I love lots of things about this property. First & foremost I love the gardens. The location is great. The Staff are lovely & accommodating. Breakfast is generous offering all the usual breakfast menu.

The only thing I noticed is the shower isn’t cleaned as well as it could be. The floor in the bathroom & shower are mopped daily but the actual tiles on the walls had a build up of soap scum. they need a good spray with bleach & a scrub with a brush.

I like the most location and nice garden. Hotel is located in small quiet street very close to beach. Very safe , cozy and romantic surroundings with lot of greenery and flowers. Property itself is romantic , beautifull garden, well maintained, with swiming pool in the center of the court , sculptures and craftwork and artwork gives clear reminder that you are on the Bali.

Bathroom is outdated. Walls should be repainted. Breakfast could be little bit more imaginative. Too dull menu.

1st time staying here and it won't be the last. The beds are very large AND comfy, the AC and fridge quiet, the pool and sun lounges good and delightful and helpful staff. It was simple to get around and very close to beach and shops.

Difficult for me to use shower as it is elevated in the bath. This is only because i have had 2 x THR (hip replacements) so a bit steep to get into and out of.

The location was close to the beach. The hotel property and surroundings, including swimming pool were very good. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Good breakfast!

The bathroom was old and in need of a major overhaul. The towels and bedsheets were quite old and no longer crispy white. Some of the rooms had very little light due to small windows. They were kind enough to change our room, upon request, to one with larger windows.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the beach. The beach promenade is really beautiful to walk and within 30mins you get to a nice little night market. The breakfast is delicious and bigger portions than in other hotels I had in Bali. The staff always has a smile on their face and makes you feel comfortable.

I did not have a safe in my room but this is something I experienced in other Bali hotels as well.
