Bintang Bali Resort

Traditional looking Balinese style resort. Room is big enough, breakfast is excellent: egg station, bacon, sausages, soup, Asian corner, potatoes, rice, noodles, sweets, fruits, etc. Swimming pool with a bar. $30AUpp BBQ dinner + show twice a week. Beach access with sunsets. Lots of inexpensive restaurants along the beach and on a nearest street toward Lippo Mall ($25-30AUpp incl 2 beers). SIM cards & massage saloons for $13AU/hr nearby. Nice boardwalk along the beach in both directions. 10 min drive from airport but NO noise! Much quieter place than Kuta center that only 1/2hr walk to. Good resort help with taxis, at reception, friendly stuff and well maintained garden with squirrels and fish pond. In-room safe. Huge king bed. Power sockets near the bed. Nice balcony with chairs and railings for cloth drying. No mosquitos. A/port transfer for $15AU.

A bit dated furniture but still ok. Grey towels (they don't use bleach for some reason). TV reception was poor although we didn't watch TV at all being busy holidaying. Power sockets are 1m away from bed- need long charger cables. Fridge rather small but enough for the fruits and beer. No toilet brush.

This is a large beach front property with amazing gardens and in a great location. There are lots of beautiful restaurants close by and everything is within a walkable distance. Breakfast was good and well planned out, 2 egg stations and separate areas so even if it was busy it never felt chaotic. The food was decent quality and always hot which is something we have found is an issue at other hotels.

Our bed wasn’t the greatest but we still managed to sleep ok. This is something they should consider to improve though. Need more sun beds when the hotel is busy. The pool area is busy and inviting and we found getting a sun bed a challenge if you are not an early riser.

The hotel is one of the best in Bali. Wonderful rooms , great pool and amazing breakfast. The staff is super friendly and the room service is great. It has direct access to kuta beach also.

The number of elevators must be more with ratio to the number of rooms, it is a big walking distance from the room to the lobby but full of land Scape so it was a beautiful walk. The location is nice in kuta and near the airport but generally bali is full of traffic always. The beach can have more seating areas and more privacy to the hotel. But in general my stay was super comfortable and great

Good value for money. Large rooms. At the beach front and Kuta center, convenient location for relaxation if you don't want to move, 5 minutes from the airport, and convenient location if you want to move and discover south Denpasar. Welcoming, helpful staff. Nice, large pool.

Cleaning. The floor literally sticks to my feet around bed and under table. I think they are not cleaning under bed and under table, and cleaning only the visible areas. The wifi is on and off all the time. You can't really work or make a serious phone call from this hotel. The food menu could be improved with more options and also less spicy option for local food.

❤️❤️❤️❤️ our stay here. I'm so glad we chose to spend our last 3 nights in Bali here. Friendly staff, the hotel itself is massive. The pool is so beautiful and great to lazy around on. And a great 📸 spot. If you are staying here, I highly recommend the spa by the beach, excellent quality service by some amazing ladies. You will not regret it.

Room service time was too early 8.30 is not the right time to clean rooms, especially when you are on vacation, so maybe review the timing. Not much food options for dinner during midweek.

It’s my home away from home. I have been coming to the Bintang for 25 years. It’s always familiar and has been consistent. Pool area always a great place to hang and relax. Always difficult to leave and do something else. The rooms have had a subtle renovation. Bathrooms are now fabulous.

I found breakfast not as grand as usual. Service always fabulous and attentive. Phones in room not correct with numbers on information. Arrived late and room service shut early and was not available for even ice. Maybe ice machines would be an added bonus. Towels in Bathroom were not the best.

Breakfast was great. Staff were too. .

Beach was not usable which was of plastic all over and in the sand and had a sewage smell so an ocean swim would not be advised and therefore the beach was not as enticing as the pics on your site

It is a beautiful setting, like a palace. We only had a few days, so did not get to enjoy all that your hotel had to offer. The grounds were beautiful.

The towels were old and not soft. The pillow case was stained. The container holding the teas was dirty. Also, we asked for a wake-up call, and there was no call. Please make sure to spray for bugs. There were ants by the headboard and on the writing table. The shampoo and bodywash could be better quality since you are a 5 star resort.

After reading a few negative reviews, I was afraid of what I would find but to my pleasant surprise the Resort was very comfortable and up to the standards. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and the sheets clean. AC works very well to keep the moisture and heat away. The pool is luxurious and the staff very polite and helpful. Located in the centre of the town, it is very close to shopping areas and the party scene. The little sewing kit and dental kits in the bathroom are thoughtful touches. The balcony also provides private space for morning tea. Breakfast buffet had huge variety everyday. We loved our stay here.

The shower water leaks into the bathroom with no wiper to dry it after. An ironing board and iron in each room will be helpful.

Excellent holiday

Resort needs an update. Stone pathways and crazy paving around pool and pathways need updating. Black stone pathways around pool got very hot. More shading around the pool required as the umbrella shades are small and one cover one sunbed. Very hot around pool with little shade. Shade over childrens pool would also be very beneficial.
