Amnaya Resort Kuta

Staff was always very friendly, and breakfast was phenomenal. The bed was quite comfortable, and the location is really convenient for walking around Kuta. Spa experience should not be missed, incredible!

I know it would be hard to change, but I found the room layout odd. It truly is one room with the toilet/shower on one side, then the bed and desk area. I was glad I was alone, because using the toilet would uave been awkwar (clear glass with a curtain?). Also, it's clear that (along with pretty much every other establishment) the pandemic and loss of visitors is showing wear on the hotel. Some paint chips, an elevator out of service, a leaky roof, seal in the bathroom sink wasn't tight, etc. Amenities were never replaced in my room over a 5 night stay even though the room was made up nicely. No mini bar, and the tea set wasn't in the room either. They also seemed a bit short of staff, and service was a bit slow- be prepared to wait at check-in.

Very spacious rooms that were very clean. All amenities you need. very comfortable large bed. Good aircon. Nice terrace. Breakfast is on order, with lots of choices and very good quality. Pool is large and good for real swimming. I booked the same hotel twice in the same week, so that means a lot. The staff are well trained and super friendly.

It's quite a large hotel, so expect regular waiting lines at checkin and lots of staff everywhere. The Wifi was not good enough for stable video calls. Do request a room on the outside of the hotel if you want to sit quietly on your terrace. The rooms on the inside get lost of noise from the pool, the dinner with music, etc. But that's a preference.

The staff was very good and Service minded. When we had issues with the Internet it was immediately a focus that it was to be fixed so that Service was extraordinary!! The location is very good although in Town not to noisy. The beds in the room are also nice and that you can ask for extra drinking water if needed should not be an underestimated Service!

If you stay as long as we did (11 days) then is the way of serving Breakfast boring after a while. We would have preferred to have a Breakfast buffé instead of choosing from a menu. With a buffé is it easier to adapt if you want to have your bread well toasted or not, if you want more Jam or less etc. One day you want more Bread instead of warm meal the other day the otherway around. It´s a good intention that it should be another way of serving Breakfast but it was not the best way for us at least. There are also perhaps to few hours when the Sun reaches the pool. When we were there in Mid July around 10:00 - 14:00 something to be aware of.

Breakfasts are something to remember. Design and layout of the rooms are quite different from what you usually see in the resort hotels. Everybody is SO friendly and always ready to help. Thumbs up to Yogi for great housekeeping and to Zee for super readiness to help anytime.

Small talk is an art. Sometimes during breakfast or at check-out a lady responsible for small talks with guests tried her best. But you always felt that she did not care nor was interested in what you are saying. I would rather had no any small talk at all.

Widi is an amazing member off staff in the restaurant and reception area. she looked after me the whole week. Heri one of the chefs was on hand nightly to help with dinner choices as I ate in the restaurant 5 out of 7 nights. Breakfast lunch and dinner was delicious and the coffee ❤️ Adi cleaned my room daily and left daily towel sculptures and messages! nice touch.

The hotelroom (and facilities) exceeded the expectations from the photo's. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable - as were the facilities of the hotel. In particular the bed and the shower were excellent. The staff was superfriendly with particular praise for the housekeeping (Yogi, Agil and Nando) and the staff at the front desk (Dee, Eka and Desak). Yes, in general the local population is very friendly in Bali but the staff at this hotel really made an additional effort in making us feel very welcome! The a la carte breakfast was also excellent and is a welcome change to the more common breakfast buffets. General information: a lot of restaurants close by and the hotel is in walking distance (5 minutes) of Kuta beach and of the discovery shopping mall. A taxi to the airport takes 10-20 minutes (depending on traffic).

The entrance street can be rather dark during the evening. As Bali is in general very safe, we didn't mind this ourselves and otherwise you can always use a taxi or grab to reach the hotel in the evening.

Attentative staff. Close to the Kuta beach and the airport. A la carte breakfast with hot food. Dont need to worry about the sun when swimming in the afternoon. Afternoon tea is a good energy booster after swimming. The bathtub is very spacious (we upgraded the room for the last day). The wifi is OK. Connected my Chromecast to the TV and there was little buffering. No password or login portal to connect to the internet.

Not really dislikes, just some notes. A little bit walk (<5 mins) to get to the main street. Car can drive you straight to the lobby though. A/C somehow needed "reset" to work properly. The technician was helpful though. The water park is very close. Maybe a bit noisy to do some reading at the balcony. In general, it did not bother us too much. Stayed at two different types of rooms. There is no much view. But the beach is <10 minutes walk away. We would rather not pay extra for the view.

This was our 2nd time staying at this place after 5 years. I would say, 5 years ago service was definitely better: we had fresh fruits every day, some small gifts and robes included in the room. Breakfast was also way better back then. It’s still a lovely quiet place with central location and close distance to good restaurants and the beach. I would recommend staying here, but I’m not sure if we personally would come back again.

Everything was fine, but 5 years ago service was way better including breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good, but not as good as it was back then.

The property is very well located ,though not on the main street but its easily walking distance to the main locality having many good restaurants including some of the best Indian restaurants like Spice Mantra , Sattvik , local shops and a mall The rooms are very good , comfortable bed , well lit, very clean, all the staff are also really good at their job .The pool is good too..

Breakfast options for vegetarian were really less , they did not have much to offer apart from a set menu , as we stayed for three days , change in options would have been great . Can improve on the breakfast / meals part .
