TOWNHOUSE Hotel

Near the main station and tram station going to the city center. This hotel is located in a chaotic street, but only a few minutes you can find the hotel and get into a totally different quiet safe space. Basic amenities and clean with air-condition. I chose economy single which looked like a box (tiny room) with no window in the attic. Elevator do not go to the floor. The room is only for a tiny person. This is not a bad thing, as I chose what I paid for. Next time I will reserve a better room in this hotel.

Not every staff member share the same level of information of hotel service. I asked to provide a formal statement at the previous night as I needed to leave early in the morning. I was told that they could not do it, but I found it later that they could. This is not crucial but ..... I hope that they could be more professional, as this hotel is really decent.

The hotel location is good, not too far from centrum and easy to come to from airport. We were on third floor, windows facing the street and it was calm and silent. Some reviews said that the area isn’t the best and nights are restless but we didn’t really notice that. There were some suspicious people walking around late in the evening but they didn’t disturb us. Our room and others spaces were clean and nice. Good breakfast. The staff is great and helpful, especially the breakfast lady who was so kind to us and everyone else. AC was huge bonus since it was quite warm during our stay.

Perfect for an overnight stay in downtown Frankfurt with a flight out of FRA the next morning. Airport hotels are really isolated and if they have free airport shuttles, they suck. From the train station (5 min walk from the hotel) you can catch a S-Bahn every 15 min for a 20 min ride. Close enough to Oldtown (Roemer, Main, Altstadt) to walk, many interesting restaurants right around the hotel. Modern rooms with everything you need, even a small fridge and very comfy beds. My room was very small, so this is best for a stay where you don't plan to spend much time in the room. Excellent windows, even though the street is very busy you do not hear anything inside. AC works well. Breakfast is excellent

The neighborhood around the hotel is a bit rough. Lots of transients and street people around. I would avoid walking here late at night

The location was really near to the central station and places to eat out. Breakfast was more than sufficient with a good selection of food. The staff are helpful and polite. We can leave our baggage for a little while after we check out. Overall, it was a very nice hotel and we are happy.

Maybe the number of unfortunate people outside the hotel, especially at night. However this is not the hotel's problem, it's the city's.

The hotel is located very close to the main train station with trams running on the same street. Even though a room we stayed in was on a smallish side it was efficiently designed and clean, the breakfast had plenty of choices and the stuff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay in the same hotel again if I would happen to be in the city, especially with pretty good price we got for our overnight stay there.

You can hear a noise from the evening activities if your room is on the lower floors.

When you arrive from the train station, the streets are littered and have people drunk/drugged/begging. However, when you arrive at the hotel, it's like stepping into another world. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, quiet, the room was lovely. Towels were changed daily, you could not hear all the noise at the front of the hotel. Breakfast had fruit salad, various breads, meats, cheeses, juices. At night, the hotel doors are only opened by staff on reception so is secure. Despite the street feeling deprived, it is a perfect location, with the bahnhof close and the Romer is at the far end. Perfect hotel.

I had a room in mansard part on 7 floor (be ready that elevator is until 6 floor and then need to walk a little with stairs. It was a little uncomfortable with heavy luggage). Room was nice and clean and quite. Almost not hearing any noise from outside (a little vibration from trams). Comfortable bed - maybe for someone can be too soft, but for me ok. Really nice and polite staff, really good breakfast. District really not super nice - a lot of weirdos outside, but inside hotel feeling super safe! If i will visit Frankfurt one more time - will choosing this hotel.

There was a little dirt on the blanket. No kettle inside room (even it was in description).

Breakfast was great and room was very clean. The gentleman in the reception was very helpful.

The area around Frankfurt station is not pleasant at all especially at night but once you are inside the hotel you feel secured. I have stayed in the hotel in this area 14 years ago and I felt so safe walking around... security has changed a lot since then. It's not the fault of the hotel and seems the policies of the city are not working right.

Breakfast was lovely. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The location was very close to the main train station, which made day trips to cities outside Frankfurt very accessible.

The location isn't somewhere I would recommend for children or elderly guests. But the hotel itself is a quiet oasis among a bustling and busy city.

We needed a place to stay that was close to the Frankfurt HBF and we highly recommend this one. Any easy walk from the station with luggage. The team were welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was ample, the rooms were clean, the shower was hot and the bed was clean and comfortable.
