Comfort Hotel Frankfurt Central Station

The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the hbf. There are a lot of restaurants around. I was given a room that has a tiny balcony in the bathroom, I loved it! Good value for money. Will surely come next time.

Many junkies in the area, be careful.

The man checking us in was very friendly and helpful, and he offered us a free room upgrade to business class which includes a/c. It also includes a small balcony and coffee machine. It is a 5 minute walk from train station and close to the restaurants and river. The beds were comfy, and the room was clean. Cheap offers. Heavy police presence in neighborhood which was great. The hotel has a lock on front door, and someone buzzes you in, which is a great feature when considering the area.

The location is rough. Lots of homeless, people partying, drinking, it was noisy. We weren't bothered, but I would not feel comfortable alone at night. Showers are small.

Didn't have breakfast this time so can't comment on that, but very comfortable and functional room with a nice powerful shower, tea and coffee making facilities, and AC - very good value for money (my high rating is based on the price paid; obviously for the price it is not going to be a 5* hotel but it more than met my needs for an overnight stay). I particularly appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. Polite, helpful and friendly staff.

Location not great in terms of being the city drug district (obviously not the fault of the hotel!) - but very convenient for main train and bus stations, which was my original reason for booking.

Spotlessly clean modern rooms, hotel has clearly been renovated recently. Excellent location (literally 2 mins from Central Station), ideal for anyone passing through. (Although as visitors to Frankfurt will know, the area around the station can be a bit intimidating due to the number of homeless etc - but it's never threatening or dangerous, in my experience.)

2:00pm check-in is quite late. I arrived at 1:00pm. Guy at the desk initially demurred and said there would be a €20 fee to check in early - however he checked and was able to give me a room with no charge. Was very friendly and helpul.

The "airport shuttle" mentioned in the listing was actually a private taxi service which cost €55 and the drive only accepted cash. We were not informed of this in advance and so did not have the required cash. The taxi cost more than our room. Better communication in advance could have eliminated the stress of that situation.

The rooms were always clean and the the cleaning staff was there everyday. Modern rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful in whatever we needed. Really close to the center (approximately 10 minutes walk)

The hotel is located near the central train station so there are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts. But this is generally how all the area looks like from the station. In one of our rooms there was not really good wifi.

It was for a good price and the breakfast was also okay. The location is very close to the center and the transportation is easy to get to.

The neighborhood was not very pleasant even though it didn’t disturb us. The only thing that annoyed me was that the bed’s skin was falling out.

The property is very central and very clean. We had a little balcony so looked right onto a Main Street which was quite cool. We also had a kettle, fridge and safe.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and modern. I think it needs to be said that the area is very very “junkie filled” at night. We saw some shocking things but NOTHING about the property is a problem.

A trusted hotel chain, always clean whites lol sheets & towels provided. single room is decently big with all basics such as hairdryer kettle, fridge, coffee & tea provided. even have a rain bath! it’s super near to the train & subway stations. location is decently safe even at night. hotel exterior architecture has a nostalgia Europe feel 👍🏻

the shower area doesn’t have a door so all the toilet floor is very wet after a bath. there was no drainage to dry the floor so it was hard to dry. the cost during Fri-sun is 2.5x weekday charges, it was far too expensive.

A 5 minute walk to the main train station. Trams, restaurants etc. right there. Old City 8-10 mins walk. Small room but fine for a night or two.

Our room faced onto the street. There was significant noise from people and vehicles all night. Was finally quieter from around 7am! Would stay again as location was great but would request a room not overlooking the street.
