Diamond Hotel Cabarete

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I had a motorcycle accident my first day and they helped me out a lot and were very attentive beyond the normal hotel needs. the pool is very nice, overall it’s clean, well maintained, quiet and not too far from central Cabarete. I chose this place during the power outage after the hurricane and to use the gym facilities for two days. Also, there are a few local corner stores within walking distance, and a very nice cafe 10 minute walk away.

Unfortunately, the gym didn’t really have equipment to use that was very good or working, and the location’s a little off the main road and isn’t so easy to find at night.

Manager Solius is extremely friendly and will help you make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Gave a bottle of cold water upon arrival. The breakfast served is very good. Excellent omlette, fresh fruits (banana, pineapple, papaya), juice, coffee. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and want to take care of you.

I liked The hotel grounds. I liked the variety of hotel guests. I liked the food and service as well as the accommodations. In past I liked trying different locations, but I have grown an attachment to this place and its people. My last visit was extended from 2 days to 14. At check out time I felt sad, as if I was leaving my friends behind. I'm returning soon and I can't wait. I can't wait to sit poolside while the cat chases the much larger dog and vice versa. Even the cat and dog live and frolic in harmony. I'm not kidding ask anyone, and they are also well mannered.

stayed 2 nights here and it was good. Room has all you need with a good and hot shower, good bed to rest and it was very quiet. In 20 minutes you can walk to the city along the beach which is really nice. And besides this the staff is really helpful. With their help we saved some money on our trip to San Francisco de Macoris today

The young man who worked there was awesome his name is solius what a great guy. The man worked every area very efficiently and his customer service was unbeatable. There is a small restaurant on location that served wonderful meals the owner are very nice. Everyone spoke very clear English that was a huge plus. When I return this is where I will stay for sure.

I wish the workers changed the bedding

Nice room with AC and comfy bed. The room had a small kitchen with a fridge. And I think if you pay a little fee they will give you pans, dishes and cutlery. They have a pool. Even though I prefer to swim in the sea.

On the weekends the locals from the capitals come there and play really loud music. But I guess this is normal in this country :-) If there wouldn't have been a curfew, I would have stayed away from the music and would have spent my time on the nearby kite beach.

The bedroom lights are very dark, but the lights outside are very bright, so its hard to fall asleep when you like it very dark and quiet. The hotel is located in a quiet area but a bit far away from the centre.

This review is reflective of me keeping my word. Often when giving a review we say I will definitely return, well this is the review of my return. I often stay at different hotels on my bimonthly monthly visits to the Dominican Republic, trying to find a good combination of value and a bit of luxury. In past I have tried the high priced luxurious villas only to encounter lack of or delayed service and or personal attention. After staying at Diamond hotel, there was no hesitation or second thought in returning. After checking in I was taken to a different room than the previous stay. It was as the other, sufficiently spacious and clean. I had a nice view of the grounds. It was a cool night and I left my door open to take advantage of the cool fresh night breeze. The room was equipped with AC and fan but I had options to choose from on that night. My stay was originally for one night but my flight had been changed so my plans also changed. I needed to extend my stay. The very polite and accommodating staff did everything to accommodate me. My room had already been slated for someone else and they were so apologetic for having to relocate me to another room. They had no idea how happy and satisfied I was just to be able to get another room on such short notice. The next room was main level across from the bar and to my pleasure it did not pose any problems with noise or any distractions. Providing there is no negative changes in this hotel, you can expect follow up reviews on a bimonthly basis. I am really pleased with this place and I highly recommend it.

Breakfast was great. Solius , the manager is absolutely amazing. This place was perfect for my son who has Special needs:)
