It was one street over from the boardwalk and a few blocks from zona colonial it was a grocery store and plenty of little convenience shops in the area

It was pretty good for the money we paid! The room was clean, as well as the rest of the facilities, everything worked fine (except for the outlet in the bathroom). The hotel has a small indoors pool with some bar seats next to it and the rooftop bar which are nice quiet spots for hanging out if you don't want to leave.

Towels and bedding had stains on them. Also, the barman at the rooftop terrace looked like a teenager, took a very long time to mix two cocktails for us (it looked like he was doing it for the first time, he was looking into the preparation instructions) and then the drinks were very weak. I'd say the hotel needs to train him a little better.

the staff was friendly and attentive and very professional . for example Mikael Jean call the bus Station for me to asked things that I don’t understand in Spanish. he was very nice. the service in general was great.

I would be helpful to chance dollars in DOP at the hotel , but I found out a place quite near from the hotel

The staff here was extremely helpful in extending my stay. Michael Jean was the best. He explained everything to me in English.

Location ! look out your door - to the right you cross a street and you are ON the malecon! corner park, with benches and a little cart selling coconut water ( he hacks off the top of the coconut and gives you a straw ). to the left you are IN the zona colonial. Not noisy, but friendly. Rooftop terrace has a great view , beverages and they are going to be doing tapas . EVERYONE speaks at least english, some french .Thank you especially Elias, Larry , Antonio , Jennifer, Michael Jean ,.. the lovely ladies who clean (!!! CLEAN !!! ).

Morning coffee was bad ( they gave me a coffee maker in my own room to solve that problem ). Food was ok but not great .

At times when staff away from front desk door locked for entry. Intermittent hot water in shower

The location of hotel is good, is just near the sea, so you can make a very pleasant walk in the morning or in the evening. to the central walking street is like 5 minute walk. the staff was friendly, and did help. Michael and other guy did good. Breakfast was good, maybe vegetables missing. Pool was on proposal

The room had specific smell, which i couldnt live with. the bathroom doesnt have a shampoo. the roosters at 5am in the morning you can hear quiet well, especially as you have time difference after transatlantic travel
