Novus Plaza Hodelpa

The A/C worked perfectly and cold. The room was nice and clean. There is a working elevator. I didn't need it but they offered snacks and other items for purchase in the hotel. The hotel offers breakfast each day included with reservation or separate pay. Location was excellent just on the conde and close to grocery store and restaurants. Parking is limited on the street and it's first come first serve so I recommended to taxi. The TV worked in the room and Wi-Fi was great and dependable. Staff was great and friendly at each interaction. English is spoken if needed. Will definitely stay again.

I didn't have a working safe for my important things. Thebsafe wasn't bolted down and didn't work. I didn't have the bedding when checked in. Only the sheets on the bed.

The property was in an excellent location since it was centrally located and near historical sites, stores, restaurants, bars, clubs and etc. The staff was exceptionally personable and professional. The hotel was very clean and staff was always cleaning public areas. I also like the breakfast buffet which although it didn’t have a lot of choices it was very exceptable and the food was very fresh.

The rooms were smaller than I’m used to but they were comfortable.

I stayed only two night but i could do everything I wanted to do because of the location of the hotel. You can do all the monuments and museums by walk. No need for transport. Also you have a supermarket nearby and a lot of restaurant options and all kind of shops. Its true that the room is small but it is perfect for someone who is going to spend most of the time outside and come back just to sleep. Very clean place. Good Value for money. I dont want to forget to mention FRANCIS who was extremely helpful and very kind. Thank you!! I will definitely come back !!!

Nothing for the price it is perfect!

- Location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of the Colonial Zona; - Staff is very friendly; - Bed is comfortable; - Breakfast is nice. Just good value for money and can recommend it to everyone traveling to Santo Domingo.

- Shower lacks a bit of water pressure; - Window could not be open; - Room is a bit noisy (we where at the front side)

Nice clean hotel in the heart of Santo Domingo. I wish the breakfast had a better food selection.

If you travel by car, no parking is available. It's a real hassle to find a parking, especially closer to the weekend. There are certain street parking rules with NO parking signs. WiFi was down late at night and in the morning.

Everything thing was really nice. I was on the 5th floor. Bed was comfortable . water hot . Room quiet. The breakfast was good . They even served me coffee before they were open. I would ignore the complainers with this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for my pleasant stay..

Great location, bright colors, nice bath, fresh/clean fixtures & furniture/appliances!...I think the checkout time was (maybe??) about 1pm!... Which greatly made/aided in sleeping in late after enjoying the previous evening activities!!

For the room to have a refrigerator...

Excellent location. Sunday was like Carnival. Security guard. Safe in room. Well laid out so most rooms have windows. outstanding breakfast (buffet). Desk man extremely helpful. Recommend restaurants and we had nice language exchange.

Love the location in the old city, close to many amenities and shops, restaurants and bank. Staff are friendly and helful.

Because we had to check out very early in the morning, we were not provided even packed breakfast.
