This the best value in Santo Domingo. They have rooms for under $30 depending on the time and its good value. Now they also have rooms that are completely renovated rooms that looks like a good four star resort. . However you wouldnt want to stay in the room when you are three to four buildings down from the front road which have a carnival, casinos, restaurants and ocean front seating. This is tge best value.

Wifi worked well. Staff was nice and friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily. It is actually really nice place. It has a terrace upstairs so you can safely spend time in the evenings. It's about 15 mins walk to Zona Colonial. Very good price for such a location and place in the capital. Breakfast daily between 8-10am, either scrambled eggs or fried egg with toasted bread with cheese (+ ham if not vegetarian), coffee, some fresh juice. Except the check in situation, this place is really good - that's why I give 10/10 because once you go past this check in then it's great.

There was a problem checking in. I was told that the air con room that I booked is not available and they want to take me to a different location. I did not agree and kept arguing that they either give discount (for a non air con room) or give the one I booked. After speaking to managers, they had no choice but to give the room. I read similar reviews before but it was fine. We got the room in the end, staff was really nice throughout and price wise it was very good. Just something for the owners to think about changing - make sure that if someone books a room, it is available for them. There is no reason advertising something that doesn't work.

The location was good. The room, although basic was certainly functional. The room was relatively big, the WIFI was excellent, shower good and the air conditioner worked well. Security is also excellent. The breakfast was simple, but quite acceptable. Lovely juice. For the price it is very good value and you can't expect everything to be 5 star. I'd certainly recommend the site for budget conscious travellers.

Perhaps breakfast, but I'm being picky.

This resort is the best kept shhhh. They are locate about 2 buildings down from the Crown Plaza and all the high end hotels. For the fraction of the price you are in the action casino, restaurants and clubs. Go to the mall or if you win go to Blue Malk i. Carnival by the water at night.

My trip was too short

The hotel is well located, very close to the malecon and within walking distance of the old town. I was in Santo Domingo to renew my Residency and it is a short drive direct along the malecon to the Immigration office. It is very good value for money.

The only problem I had was that there was no water in the room when I arrived. This was due to the local electricity supply being down and the problem was soon resolved.

The breakfast was good and so was the location.

They need to make the steps a different color than the floor. I fell because I didn’t see the step because it was the same color as the floor.

I love the location there is many restaurants options and a casino within walking distance, it’s safe and on a quiet street .Staff is friendly and helpful. They offer a breakfast if you want to buy it and have it sent to your room. . Has hot water which is rare in DR , to me the hot water is a big selling point as an American lol. Price cannot be beat for the location. I have stayed over 10+ When I come/leave is about 40 mins from the airport . I will continue to stay with this hotel!

Nothing that I wouldn't recommend here. That was what I was looking for, an experience with people who are living here. I've been able to know the country better with alain's knowledges and with his partner who is from here. A lot of laughs and experiences I'll recommend it to anyone who is open minded and want to discover the island. Without forgetting the free water, some coffee on the morning and the fruits that are bought daily or pick up the nature arround. Thank a lot to them! We will be back for sure!!!! ❤❤❤

Diana is the woman doing the cleaning she is one of the amazing person I never met, she is doing an amazing job with heart, respect and she is so welcoming, Diana thank you , you are a very good person.

The taxi guy the hotel charged to pick you up and drop you at the hotel, the hotel needs to talk to him about the price and has to keep the price he negotiated with the hotel because he gives you a price very different of what the hotel told you, I think the hotel has to talk with him about that, but his cars are very clean, very talkative, good English speaking, the only thing I don’t like is the non respect of the price he negotiated with the hotel.
