Park Inn by Radisson, Calgary Airport North, AB

The room was fantastic for 2 as there was a well stocked kitchenette, very large desk, 3 different chairs to sit in and a decent sized bathroom. As we did not have a car we chose this location over one downtown as it was a great price and not as noisy and it allowed us to walk to the airport and catch the bus or train for our different adventures. The breakfast was excellent, hot and cold items, very tasty. They had a selection of food to buy which were really decent prices and ranged from chocolate to frozen meals, very convenient. A great laundry and fitness centre too. The staff here were exceptional. Maria was so very kind and thoughtful in the breakfast area and Larry on Reception was an absolute treasure in regard to his knowledge of Calgary and how we could get to places and what to see. He was always professional and with a great sense of humour.

When it comes to personal preference I like a firm bed and pillow so that being said, no place is perfect.

Excellent accommodations! Very clean, very friendly staff. We had a king room, with the king in a separate bedroom, and a pullout couch in the "living room". The couch was actually comfortable! It's quiet, despite being close to the airport. There is a nice gym and a free laundry, all very clean. There is a nice dog run at the back of the hotel, though it is not fully enclosed, so dogs with poor recall may be better off leashed. There is a nice patio with a couple of barbeques. Their complimentary breakfast is actually better than most I have experienced. It is located at the entrance to Calgary from the north -- so, convenient to those who may drive in from, say, Edmonton. Close enough to the highway for a short run to most interesting places (the Zoo, the Science Centre, the downtown museums, Crossiron Mills mall, etc.) In short, very impressed!

This hotel looks new and is very close to the airport. It is located in an office park so there are no restaurants, gas stations, etc. immediately around it. Front desk clerk was very pleasant and informative. Unit was a comfortable size with a kitchenette, large desk and recliner. Kitchen was reasonably stocked. It was very quiet the night we were there. Instead of a shuttle they have an arrangement with the cab companies. My husband returned our car to the airport the night we arrived, catching a cab back to the airport, and they scheduled a cab for us to get to the airport the next morning. All went smoothly and was included in our rate.

Booked for one night on arrival to Canada. The hotel got me a taxi from and back to the airport included in my stay. The room was very big, modern, and had excellent amenities. A kitchenette and everything you would ever need all in one room. Very modern room and bathroom lovely too. Clean and very comfortable. I accidentally missed the breakfast time in the morning, but the lady in the kitchen went out of her way to get me whatever I wanted from what she had left. Very helpful and friendly staff, I would highly recommend this hotel!

If I was to be picky, the location wasn’t the best. On an industrial estate, not much of an issue apart from you are a taxi/Uber ride away from anywhere. Apart from this, the hotel was fabulous!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Park Inn by Radisson. It is such an enjoyable, stress free stay. At the airport you can take 3 choices of taxi at any time & the hotel pays the driver on your arrival at the hotel. The hotel also arranges a free taxi back to the airport at whatever time you like. No worrying about waiting around or missing out on a hotel shuttle. The receptionists were very efficient & friendly. This time we stayed in a king suite which was lovely - so roomy with a kitchenette & comfy lounge. The free included continental breakfast far surpassed our expectations. As well as the usual items, there was a delicious array of extras - vegetable quiche, cheese omelette, burgers… The machine coffee was one of the best we’ve had too. The breakfast staff were cheerful & helpful & refilled food selections regularly. On all accounts, it was a pleasure to stay here & we will return each time we are in Calgary.

The room was large and pleasant and well equipped, including in the kitchen. The staff and transportation to the airport were excellent. The breakfast was very good. The staff and all services were extremely efficient. There was a good sit-down restaurant at another hotel within a short walk. It met all my expectations.

Just a small issue but the faucet spigot in our bathroom was completely loose and detached from the vanity top, and then while I was using the faucet, the lever mechanism on the stopper broke so that the stopper could not be lifted to drain the water in the sink. I reported it to the front desk and they offered to have it looked at right away but since we were only there for a few more hours, I said that wasn't necessary. However, I was surprised by this glaring maintenance problem/disrepair because overall the hotel was very nice, with all furnishings new and in excellent condition.

The hotel was conveniently located (airport hotel) for flight the next morning. Had a laundry which I used. Very large room with kitchen facilities which I didn't use. It was clean and had everything I needed in the room. I arrived early at the hotel and was given a room straight away which I appreciated. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Even though close to the airport I was not aware of any airport noise.

This is an observation, not a dislike. The hotel offers bed and breakfast. There is no dining room for dinner. However, the rooms have kitchen facilities and you are able to purchase some ready meals from the hotel to heat up/cook in your room. I did not wish to cook as I was essentially in transit between two cities so instead went to the hotel next door that has dining facilities.

Great bed. Great kitchen with pans pots utensils everything u need for cooking. Breakfast was average. Apple.or banana bagel or bread or cereals. Vector frosted flakes special k and one other I dont remember. And 2 types of eggs a egg with cheese and a type of quiche thing. Or a premade egg and sausage sandwich that was what you expect with a premade prepackaged thing. And juice and coffee of course. Front desk and room cleaners were exceptional. I brought my cat and They made every effort to clean my room on my schedule so my cat wouldnt freak out at them. 25 bucks extra for an animal for however long you stay. ( that price is Not per night)

I liked that the room had kitchen, dishwasher and utensils. Free washer and dryer. Responsive staffs

Some minor things Some small things like I asked to clean my room on the 2nd day and went out. But when returned found that the room wasn't clean. The door does not lock automatically (room 417)! needed a push. Breakfast could be a bit better with some more items/variations Request an invoice/bill and the front desk said he already mailed me the bill but I haven't received it yet!

Great location for a layover. The hotel is very close to the airport. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable! It had a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, and 2 burner stovetop. Plus dishes, utensils, pans, etc. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, nothing special, but a decent selection of items. Overall, it was a great stay for a great price!

The hotel shuttle service is by taxi. The one taxi driver was horrible! I wasn't completely in the cab (my door still opened),and he started pulling away! I realize this is not the hotel's issue, but it is the only complaint I have.
