Holiday Inn Express Hasselt, an IHG Hotel

The room contained small things which are typically attributed to the expensive hotels. The soap, shampoo and hair conditioner were extremally good. The room was large and there was a convenient desk for work. There was a kettle and tea bags (coffee) for free. Staff was very nice. They also provided us with iron and ironing board. The breakfast was excellent.

It might be a little noisy if you sleep with open window. Although, you can close the window and turn on the air conditioner, then it will be absolutely quiet. The rest was perfect and there is nothing to complain about.

We don't know about the Holiday Inn Express, because we were moved to the Holiday Inn at the Kattegatstraat. But this hotel was very nice, friendly and comfortable. Good breakfast as well. Really a great stay! Parking advisable at the Blauwe Boulevard, 5 minutes walk north of the hotel (maybe 10 to the HI Express).

A bit strange that we had to read on the door of HI Express that we had to go to Kattegatstraat, instead of getting a message. But it is close by and the stay was great.

I cannot say much about Holliday Inn Express, because when I came there the hotel was closed, and a note on the door informs that all reservations are moved to Holliday Inn. That was a nice upgrade, thanks to pandemic. There everything was very good.

There was a strange periodic noise, like someone bit a drum once per two seconds in a next room. After few such bits, there was faint siren for a few seconds and then everything repeats. After few hours, this noise became really irritating.

Functional hotel. It has everything necessary and in good condition. I chose a room in quiet side, now in Street. Breakfast is good and included in price and the lady that takes care of it is super friendly.

Rooms on the small side. Must be quite hot in summer. Parking ISS paid and underground around the corner

Breakfast was nice and varied. The room was clean and quite spacious. Bed was very comfortable! Only a 10 minute walk from Hasselt station

Only thing I can complain about is that the hand soap in our room was empty, everything else was great!

Location was perfect. A few minutes walk from the city center. The room was a bit noisy but good enough. Breakfast was good but more then enough choice.

The space where the breakfast was located was a little small for a lot of guests so you had to wait in line and bump into other guests to get some breakfast.

Pleasant rooms. Nice breakfast. Close to town centre. Very well stocked fridges in reception for snacks water etc.

No socket by the mirror to use straighteners.

The hotel was great! The staff were very nice and helped with everything we asked The rooms are great, big and comfy beds. The breakfast was more than enough and very well organized

Very clean, comfy bed with soft sheets. Location was good. staff were friendly. Good provision of tea/coffee, cups, soap in the rooms.

Could have had more warm veggie/vegan options for breakfast.
