Bel Air on Broadbeach

the location was fantastic, perfect for families. close to tram, shops, beach and restaurants. The front desk was fantastic and helpful. Pools were great and clean, kids enjoyed the heated pool to in the afternoon.

the shower had minimal hot water we had to turn on another tap to get it working a little better but still only Luke warm. We stayed for 5 nights and could have done with an extra roll of toilet paper and dishwashing liquid and washing powder but it wasn't hard to go to reception and ask.

We were on arrival surprised by the size and type of bed but the receptionist found a Matress Topper to add comfort to the bed and we were happily sleeping for our 13 day stay. the receptionist also helped me clear the dead cockroaches i found in the lounge kitchen and laundry areas. the building had been recently sprayed for termites and we carried on discovering dieing roaches for the next week.

as above, it was an unfortunate side effect that quest have to clear the insect carcasses but the building needs to be sprayed as general maintenance. we had workmen and the outside pool area was reduced also, again maintenance has to be done.

This was the perfect location for our family holiday with three children under 9. It was easy to walk across the road to Pacfic Fair for dinner and to shop at the supermarket. We also parked there for the day for shopping and only had to drive around the corner. It was a 30 minute max drive to the theme parks with Sea World only being a 16 minute drive away. Parking was great with easy lift access. The indoor pool was perfect for the cooler weather and the residents were friendly. The apartment was very spacious, with comfortable bed and plenty of seating.

We would have liked another lock option on the doors out to the balcony as the kids could easily unlock the if they wanted too. Deadbolts at the top of the doors with keys would have been ideal. We did request another bed for our 3 year old and it was just the pull out couch which didn't really work as we couldn't put the kids to bed and be out in the lounge so she ended up sleeping in with us. It was fine for us but may not suit other families so just something to be aware of.

It was quiet, everyone was friendly, the apartments were clean and tidy and had everything you need. We loved being able to use the gym and indoor pool each morning like we do at home

If you come back to the carpark later in the afternoon and night it was hard to get parking. It is advertised as accessible however there is no disabled spot, I guess you don't need to provide one but it would be handy if you did. My wife is a wheelchair user and i have back hip and leg conditions along with some other disabilities which was really flared up walking from b3 to East tower at midnight and also having to move luggage up and down without having the car close was difficult too. Apart from that we enjoyed everything else

Walking distance from the tram station, the beach and Pacific Fair shopping centre. There's a cafe at the base of the East Tower, a gluten free cafe on the road you cross to get to the tram station, as well as a small grocer and some restaurants if you don't feel like going any further. Excellent, centralized hotel with all amenities within walking distance

Signage for getting in is lacking somewhat. I wasn't sure where to go when I arrived to pick up keys for the room. And when I arrived in the parking lot (underground) there's no obvious signage to tell you where both sets of elevators are. For example, I parked near the back where there was plenty of parking spaces available, only to discover I needed to walk the entire length of the carpark, because the elevators for the East Tower are by the entrance. It was easy enough to move the car once I knew, but knowing in advance would have been beneficial.

The room was very spacious and clean. Lots of room for our kids to play in a separate area. The location and views were exceptional. Waking up to stunning views of the beach on one side and the watching the world go by the highway on the other.

Noticed some signs of the rooms being worn down e.g. unable to see temperatures around oven knobs as had faded away (although they were doing renovations at the time). We stayed for over 5 days but were only provided limited detergents for the dishwasher and washing machine (had to request for more a few times).

First apartment wasn’t exactly what we wanted so they upgraded us to the ocean view we were expecting. This trip was for my husband’s 50th and we had our three young teenagers with us. Fantastic spot, opposite Pacific Fair! Lovely pool for an icy dip in winter then a warm and bubbly spa right next to it! Indoor pool and sauna inside. Reception friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and spacious with living area and big kitchen and 2 very separate bedrooms with ensuites. Easy access to lifts, security with keycards so very safe at night. Bel Air also has residents living there full time and they are so friendly. Hop on the G-tram up to Broadbeach and Surfers and the tram takes you to bus stop for the theme parks. Event Cinemas and loads of restaurants and food court and boba 🧋 tea at Pacific Fair. Loads of clothes shops too so be aware your pockets will be emptied !! lol We also caught the bus down to Burleigh Heads so you don’t need a car if a relaxing holiday is what you are after. Highly recommend! Walk to Broadbeach and try Valentino’s for pasta sauce to die for and Gemelli’s for the best Italian pizza and On Fire Greek Taverna for Greek food. And did I mention the views from the Apartment? Amazing!!

Maybe check and make sure the room they give you is the room you book especially if it is for a special occasion. the first room was lovely but had more mountain than sea views.

Great ocean views Free secure parking Lovely reception staff Apartment was clean and spacious and it is fully equipped (thanks for the surprise upgrade guys, really appreciated it) Eateries close by (few restaurants next door) There is an awesome cafe on site - Little Beach Cafe, if you haven’t tried their coffee and brekky burrito, give it a go. (Their Coffee was just the best!) Across the road is Pacific Fair and the tram The casino and convention centre is about 2 blocks away (10min walk) Excellent location

The shower taps - when turning the hot water in the shower, you just need to turn the cold water a teeny bit, any more and it seems the hot water vanishes (it’s a balancing act lol)

Great ocean and city views. Close to pacific fair shopping and 10 minute walk to beach or Broadbeach Central. Comfortable bed and lounge. Had a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with enough space and privacy between rooms. A great balcony wrapping north to east great for winter sun. Prompt elevator convenient to carpark. Friendly staff.

Basic furniture and styling although lounge was very comfy.. Needed a floor lamp in the lounge room. At the time there were painters on ropes appearing on our balcony, unavoidable but a bit inconvenient to privacy.

Brilliant spot. Exactly where we wanted to be. Our room was HUGE, so much space. Lovely 1 bedroom with living room. Great view to Pacific Fair and mountains. All toiletries provided as was everything in the kitchen. HUGE bed and so comfy. TV in bedroom as well, great for news and coffee in the morning 👍short walk to Pacific Fair and The Star Casino. Beach not far either. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

My only suggestion would be a walk in shower instead of over the bath. That's because I have sore knees. Change the shower head to one that can be hand held.
