Parking cost…didn’t register our hotel parking deal $20 per day, ended up paying around $110 for three nights stay but a massive improvement on my last stay when the parking was extremely ambiguous, so kudos to Star!!!

my partner ended up at level 47 without his key to get back into the apartment, he was bringing a mate back to the apartment and thought he could just go down two flights of stairs to get to our floor and get back in to floor however, not realising it’s the fire exit, he couldn’t get back in. he called numerous times on the security phone. No one answered. Try different levels with the security phone and still no one answered.  I was out at the time, so I rang reception and finally got onto someone that could let them in, but was told that they hadn’t even received any calls so might be something to look into. 

in the heart of everything both in and out of the casino. great facilities.

the lift access was not great. people waiting for long periods of time to get access the lifts at peak times.

Beautiful, brand-new apartment. The most amazing views with floor to ceiling windows. Nice and roomy. This was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with ocean views. Close proximity to shops, cafes, restaurants, beach, transport and casino if that is your thing. The guys on reception seem pretty helpful and friendly.

The lifts are a bit of a drag. Even though there are 4, at peak checkin checkout times you might have to wait for 2 or 3 to go by before you can get in. So factor this in if you have deadlines, transport or flights to catch. On that note, the check in area is relatively small. I checked in really late, so it was not an issue for me. Parking is still really confusing, and I had even written down instructions for family to come and meet and they still had problems knowing what level to park and what level to meet me on. I think because the towers are new since we have been there and it is also a little confusing with check in as there is the Doorset next door, my Uber driver was not to sure either but he got me there.

modern, great location

the image of our apartment on the website and this email is deceiving. ours was much smaller than we were lead to believe. there was no island bar, etc. just a crammed table next to a wall of kitchen bench. the lifts make no sense- someone needs to have a rethink. why have 4 lifts going to every level? usually with tall buildings there are certain lifts to lower floors, and other for higher floors. queues to use the lift were unacceptably long not to mention once u got in the lift…it stopped so many times to get up to the 44th floor. also, there is no service lift!!! poor planning.

Amazing view from the 47th floor. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Gorgeous/clean/spacious modern room design and in room facilities. Loved the Nespresso machine and fully equipped kitchen + laundry. Lovely sized balcony. It really was the perfect stay. Thank you very much to all the staff at The Star Residences for making our stay so wonderful!

The only feedback for areas of improvement would be the lifts. The ratio of lifts to floors/apartments could be more sufficient. A service lift may be an area of future improvement for staff as well.

Lovely views, obviously lots of entertainment being the casino but the lifts (THE LIFTS) oh dear some very intelligent board meeting didn't consider putting a few extra in, absolutely shocking, 15 minutes wait up and down. make sure not to forget something in your room, it will be a 30 minute mission. thank goodness covid is over because we were like a tin of sardines in the lifts. all in all definitely a great place to enjoy

Room is very spacious. Loved the views and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Will definitely be coming back again. Asked for a high level floor on the day and was able to get it so that was perfect. Partner loved the foxtel and netflix😁 Loved that their was a washing and dryer too. Only took videos of the views,wished I had photos. Will definitely be coming back. Thankyou staff of star residences!

One side of the bed was not as comfy as the other side. You could feel the spring also every time you got off and on it would make a sound. Also our window of the room was very hard to open or close. So left it as it is

We loved our stay at the Star Residence. The ocean view appartment had the most expansive wonderful view. Access to 3 pools was such a bonus and each pool was totally luxe. Parking needs to be explained but easy enough after you do it once. The cost of $20 per day was reasonable but don't forget to factor in the extra day, we stayed 3 nights but parking is 4 days. It was surprising that all properties join up in some way so you can get to the casino or the Dorset pool or the carpark easily.

The bed seemed small. It said Queen size but it felt smaller for some reason and the room could have taken a king.

Great location for us as we were attending an event at the Exhibition Centre. Great views and really nice pools and gym.

Room was dusty and the balcony clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while as the furniture it was dirty and there was broken glass on the ground that I had to clean as soon as we arrived. Only 4 elevators which were really slow and constantly full which made getting in and out of the hotel difficult. Not a great variety of restaurants - especially when traveling with family. Very expensive. $45 fee to have your room "refreshed" is a bit much when you are paying over $700 per night.
