Hotel Realm

The room was clean, but not COVID-clean. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was good. We were grateful for a fridge and a washing machine in our suite.

We felt very unwelcome at the hotel pool with our kids. We did not realise the Realm pool was a lap pool for health club users as opposed to a pool for the hotel. Room service was hit and miss. We wanted to order something when arriving back at our room after an event at 1am and were told that they could "probably do a toastie". We were under the impression room service was 24-hour. There were a few small issues with cleanliness. The iPads to control the room were not working.

The special room rate ( including breakfasts and underground carpark (free)). The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. the breakfast and dinner menus were magnificent and affordable. Also having Spring water and Still water on tap to fill their caffès as need be a bonus. The bar staff also excellent.

Though this can’t be helped renovations of the adjoining bar next to the restaurant could have been better orchestrated that Jack hammering could have started after the breakfast times ( started at 7.45am onwards), which meant all windows were closed and outside dining only for the deaf.

I was in Canberra for work and decided to extend my stay for a day. My husband met me there and we figured we would some quality time together. The bed was the best part. We felt like we were sleeping on a cloud it was so comfortable. The restaurant Louis was also wonderful and the food absolutely incredible! Would highly recommend this hotel.

The only negative thing was that someone walked into our room to check if the previous booking had taken anything from the mini bar. The person knocked and I was in the bathroom unable to open the door and when I clearly didn’t open the door he walked in anyway. However, apart from this everything else was amazing!

Super comfy large bed, dark block out curtains making it easy to relax! The room was a nice size for a hotel and super comfortable. Spa was nice and warm! And free parking on site was a bonus, as well as local cafes and restaurants close by.

Room was a little unclean for the price, stains on the floors and spider webs above the bed and on windows and seals , marks on mirrors and walls. despite the room feeling clean with bed and towels being super clean the little details make it less then 5 star and not matching the price we paid.

Room is always clean and such comfortable beds. Love the large tub to relax in and the coffee machine is always a good sign of a great hotel, who doesn't want a good coffee in the morning. Food was excellent. I tend to eat in my room and it is always delivered promptly and hot. Come back here time after time as it is so comfortable and a great walk into the city to stretch the legs

More choice on the room service - perhaps a special that the Chef is cooking that night for those in the restaurant.

Our smart tv didn’t live up to the name. Constantly went to black screen and we started again. Kitchenette could have few more supplies, like small paring knife and a microwave safe container to heat food in. I know only 2 people are in room but really a few more utensils and plates etc. it’s such a waste of energy putting 2 plates and cutlery thru dishwasher. BUT there’s no plug for kitchen basin. It’s the small things that get you annoyed.

Don’t think twice about booking accommodation here. We stayed 4 nights. It is absolutely stunning, rooms are gorgeous, clean and big, beds and pillows are so comfy. We booked a family room it was perfect for us. Gym and pool facilities are great, clean and excellent condition. Staff are amazing and restaurants are fantastic. We traveled with our family of 5 and everything was perfect.

Beautiful hotel with amazing facilities, a spectacular bar and restaurant with amazing in room dining options. The staff at the front were friendly, welcoming, helpful and just generally a pleasure to engage with. The check in process was smooth, the charges were very good value for money, just note you have to pay extra for parking but there is a tesla charger. The room was modern, clean and well appointed. The bath, the whole room, just such a great room and the value for money still astounds me.

Nil complaints

The room was comfortable and staff were really friendly. Edward helped us at reception, he was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us some good recommendations. Loved that you could order extra pillows which is really great as I'm in my third trimester and made sleeping extra comfortable.

Tv was not working on arrival, but easily fixed by calling maintenance who were very helpful and friendly. We don't normally watch tv anyway but just wanted to see the world cup match on that arvo.
