The Westin Verasa Napa

We had a suite with bedroom and sitting room and balcony. We were traveling with two small dogs (extra charge). Very good kitchenette. East access to outside dog-walking area along the river. Morning coffee located in lobby. Evening wine-tasting provides by local wineries. Across the street from the Wine Train depot. Lots of open space and within an easy walk to a good variety of cafes and restaurants.

Valet parking ONLY but it was convenient and the attendants were very helpful. Small pool area, which was crowded and noisy during peak family time.

Overall the room was nice, we paid extra to get the king suite. The shower was nice, but the tub was just a regular tub. The hotel patio area with the pool and hot tub were nice, and the fireplace area was nice, but there were not enough seating areas around it. Walking distance to the expo and downtown Napa is great.

However, I was expecting more for the amount we paid. We had a balcony, but it was useless as it was looking directly into the back of another building and there was no view. We put that we were celebrating our anniversary, and there were no nice special touches or notes that we sometimes get at a more personalized place. There wasn't really a wine bar, but there was a wine opener and wine glasses which came in handy. The restaurant wasn't really that good, we ordered two dishes and they were pretty terrible, and expensive to boot. My wife and I jokingly said we paid extra so that there would be no kids around because there didn't seem to be an "extra" factor for the price. We would return on discount days, no way we would go back at the rate we paid.

Nicole and Blair delivered amazing customer service! Welcoming, warm, helpful and all-around just great to chat with. After having major issues at Meritage with no hot water, we left and booked a room last minute during covid. It was clean and felt super safe. Parking is secure and underground. Great little grass run for dogs behind hotel. AND the location was unbeatable. China Overlook park is a block away (bring a picnic blanket for grass, bring your dog, and eat socially distanced) Gotts Roadside and Oxbow are literally down the block. Morimoto and all of downtown is walking distance. Impressed mostly by the service. We brought toothpaste but forgot our toothbrushes and they had them at the front desk.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful! The room is big and comfortable; best bed sheets and mattress and the robes are awesome! It was a little strange that our room was not cleaned every day but that is not necessary. We just we’re not expecting it to not be done daily.

Great hot tub and pool. Great workout room. Loved the beautiful lobby and bar area. Beautiful rooms and nice bathrooms. Very happy with our experience.

noise at night from the parties in the pool and spa… we could hear until 1 AM on the 3rd floor. bedroom was warm due to poor air conditioning circulation so we needed to have window open …. noisy

I didn't do anything there but stay in room and slept. The shower was awsome. Loved the small deck that was a bonus

The price was outrageous especially with the covrid going on and so many people out of work. We just came for a mini getaway. It's the holiday season weekend and I feel that I was taken advantage of price wise. Should b happy u had some one come and stay. I won't stay again price is to steep to sleep and shower

The breakfast sandwiches were amazing! Nicole at the pool was incredible as well, and made us feel so safe. A gentleman at the pool had glass, and she notified him it wasn't allowed. We voiced we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and your property automatically upgraded us, and we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived. BRAVO! By far exceeded our expectations. Thank you! Also, the complimentary coffee in the morning was a pleasant bonus. WOuld stay again in a heartbeat!
