Candlelight Inn Napa Valley

Breakfast was fantastic. The staff was very kind and helpful. The facilities inside were clean. Our room was also clean. It was a quiet property which was also nice.

The pool was reported to be open but was ill-kept but still being heated. As a pool owner, I could tell It needed about an hour's worth of simple maintenance to make it swim-worthy which per the property details it was supposed to be open. On our second night, a sign was up saying it was closed. A hot tub is also listed in the property details on booking.com and per the date range was supposed to be open. This didn't exist or at least we weren't shown it and couldn't find it. The TV was connected to a cable box but it said the service was not connected as if the subscription wasn't being paid or the cable box was turned off. We had no TV for the duration of the stay which didn't hurt my feelings but it may have been nice at times.

romantic- historic- charming- old growth trees- quiet residential neighborhood- kind and welcoming staff (Eliseo) delicious breakfast served with vintage music (think Sophia Loren in 1960’s), wine reception at check in, cheese and fruit plates in fridge, great coffee and Nespresso in rooms

Property needs some improvements: rear patio exterior needs replacing, pool needs cleaning and replastering, the king bed candlelight suite needs new mattress/ way too soft mattress😖 shower could use remodeling in the A frame shape room

People and service could not be better. Everyone was very helpful, and the food was very good.

The pool as a big disappointment. My wife likes to swim, and she even had me bring my bathing suit. But the pool as very dirty with brown and green growing in the pool, we were both afraid to enter the pool. We were able to sit by the pool, but it was not even pleasant looking at the pool. Please clean up the pool and make it so guests can use it.

We loved the beauty of the property. Vintage, historical and warm. Due to traffic we were late for a commitment and the check in was nice with much information even though we were rushed. Upstairs room "Lady Britianny"was lovely with a small balcony and view of pool and we enjoyed in late evening with a glass of wine. We could view a pretty yard and the property is nice, clean and quaint. Did not see a lift but only one flight and not difficult. The bed and linens were great. The breakfast was so good. Made an appointed time and the pancake and caramel syrup and fruit and quiche was outstanding and coffee wonderful. The best we have had in a long time.....seemed like Europe. The staff was great. We only stayed one night but we will stay here again next year when we come back to see our friends.

The exterior of the building is beautiful and romantic and the interior is warm and welcoming. We stayed in the "Wine Maker Room", the room is large enough the bed is comfortable and what's more important very clean. My boyfriend and I had our breakfast by the pool and had champagne the night before. I ordered champagne and dark chocolate dipped strawberries delivered to the room the day we arrived and it was perfect, strawberries were delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay that we are already planning our next staycation in this B&B.

The room is located at the first floor across the kitchen so it was quite loud in the morning due to staff making breakfast. I overlooked the loud morning since I have easy access to the swimming pool and cabana.

Lovely location short ride to downtown Napa and lots of wineries within 20 minutes Uber ride. Parking on site was easy and a large swimming pool was relaxing and peaceful. Staff were welcoming and went over and above to accommodate us during our stay. Different breakfast each day and snacks available, along with use of freezer and fridge. Overall an incredibly comfortable and peaceful stay.

Breakfast was fantastic- Very quiet peaceful residential neighborhood- Enjoyed complimentary wine each evening…..although did have to request vs other lodging facilities that set up designated wine/cheese area.

Large soaking tubs appear to be in bedrooms- Non functional for our style of leisure travel.

the property was so inviting and pretty. They had a Christmas tree up and it was such a warm inviting room. Although out room was one of the smaller options it was actually quite nice and had enough room for us as a couple. The shower had good water pressure and the products were of nice quality.

Our bed in the lower champagne room was not super supportive. The linens were soft and the pillows were good quality.

A small hidden paradise in Napa, beautiful building, very nice garden with pool, fantastic staff and great breakfast. Good access to Napa center by Uber or even by a nice stroll (we had a lovely night stroll back from our restaurant downtown Napa, took 30 min).

This place was beautiful but more importantly the staff made our stay the absolute best. They were so accommodating and kind. The breakfast each day was a true highlight, homemade with fresh scones and egg dishes. We loved the location as it was a short drive from town. Close by was a trail to hike with breathtaking views. We also loved the lush grounds. We had a balcony with a view of the back yard. We would love to stay here again! Thank you for everything!
