The Cove Rotana Resort - Ras Al Khaimah

I liked the architecture, pleasant workers and the overall stay very much.

I have booked a premium room with the lagoon view, and I have got the one looking at another building, even though you have to pay extra for the view. When we spoke to the team they told us that sometimes is partial sea view and not always the full view. If this is the case, I would recommend not charging your guests extra money if you cannot ensure the view. Also, for all inclusive guests nothing was available apart from the Cinnamon restaurant, that was pretty disappointing.

first ,according to huge of the place they have service for golf cars to take you to the room from lobby and also when you need to g to lobby but they have problems you have to wait about 20 mins to go to your room 20 mins to go out side. Secondly,they don’t have different cuisines in there restaurant for that you have to go out side which is far from the city about 10 km . Thirdly , They will collect from you deposit when you reach there for check in about 500 AED. Fourthly, you must Take Towel card from if you lost the towel or card they will didactic from your deposit about 75 AED

The AC in our room wasn’t working properly and there was a smell in the room

The location was amazing. Staff are professional & very friendly, they make you feel at home. View & landscape is breathtaking. Facilities are good.

Just minor comments regarding the room: 1) The electric sockets weren’t all working at the room, I was only able to use 2 for my external devices out of all the ones available at the room. 2) There was a stove in the kitchen which wasn’t working. 3) I found a drop of blood on the bedsheet. 4) There should be a note warning the guests about mosquitoes. 5) The AC isn’t really user friendly to adjust.

its a beautiful resort with multiple swimming pools. one is for adults only which is great. the beach is stunning. spacious resort. we were able to relax and have delicious food.

The delay in the buggy service. when busy waiting time was 15 to 25 minutes which was disappointing as we were on a tight schedule but we didn’t let it spoil our weekend.

Location Is very nice. Everything else was very nice such as checkout process. Restaurants. Food. Some facilities. Kids pool area and play area is very nice. There is a small market inside hotel for grocery needs. Evening childers shows are an added bonus.

Some amenities in room were not filled properly as well as Shattaf which is very necessary for us muslims was missing. Room and View was ok. Hotel is huge so buggy was required everywhere we needed to go specially in hot summer season with kids and Buggy availability was a disaster as we had to wait 30 to 40 mints everytime we ordered a buggy. Some drivers were not co-operative even when going to same location of our room. Check in process is also very hectic since it takes a lot of time due to some hotel policy

pool was great, breakfast was filling and room was well made. overall it was a good experience and we loved it. The beach front was amazing .. loved it .. Room service was good till the last request where we experienced a delay of 45 mins for the buggy transportation from the room to reception while checking out.

MOST IMPORTANT : The plastic band which was provided to us to identify our "all inclusive packages" was just horrible. it had all sharp ends and we both ended up with 3-4 mild cuts in our body due to this. We are in a fully digital world and a five star hotel still hanging on to these highly unsafe plastic hard bands is not acceptable at any cost. I am sure most of the parents with small kids would have raised this concern. Once again, these kind of stone age type of bands which are literally unsafe for any human being who wants to enjoy the stay at your resort MUST be avoided at any cost. This can hurt badly especially if someone (especially children) is wearing while enjoying the slides.. It can hurt their eyes by mistake !! So kindly take necessary actions ASAP.

I enjoyed the sunset pool alot as they regulated the temperature and it is summer its very important, Spa team mostly Alyza was very welcoming when we came to the spa and wet facilities each time. so many pieces of equipment in the gym. The breakfast was delicious i was spoiled for choice and they have excellent views more so at sunset and sunrise. I forgot my wallet in the room and housekeeping Team Ali and Tej were very honest to keep it safe and delivered to me with all the money and cards since we were still around after checkout I was so happy 😁. Buggy team was so fast in coming to pic us and drop us off anywhere we went. We had the room decorated very lovely with the Anniversary celebration we felt very special🤩. The photo guy was so amazing he took very great shots I will definitely come again but take 2 or more days...

Sometimes the buggy took a long time and the outdoor waiting area is not shaded at the reception and we were wet we didn't want to sit inside the reception area which was an inconvenience.

WOW! Listen and take note, Cove Rotana is the gem of Ras Al Khaimah. We came here for a surprise 4-day stay for my wife and 2-kids, celebrating our 20th anniversary. The hotel staff have to be commended for the attentive service they have afforded to us during our stay, from surprises being delivered to our room, to their proactiveness. Everywhere we went, we felt as though we were their only guests such was their attention to us, and Cove Rotana and their staff made us feel special throughout our stay. The food and drinks in very bar and restaurant are awesome, the staff are simply brilliant. We had fun filled activities in the pool area, to entertainment nights in the evening, to the salon and spa where special mention goes to the staff in how they provided our treatments. The reception staff, Umer and his team are the best and Umer specially looked after us and is a credit to the resort. A very knowledgeable person, Umer gave us a guided tour of the resort and nothing was too much for him, a gentleman Umer is. I recommend to anyone wanting to visit Ras Al Khaimah, stay at The Cove Rotana. This is where magic happens. It genuinely is the Santorini of the UAE.

- upgraded villa with own pool - bars and restaurants - friendly, helpful and polite staff at reception (mr Waqas and mr Jayson) and at restaurants - many places where to have drinks and food

- basic room category is a TRASH (mold inside tile grouting, no hand shower but have a bidet what is not the same, no dental kit, no minibar/fridge was almost warm inside, very old hotel and facilities, found a cockroach inside my room, shower head is like a hand shower spray/no rain shower, ac thermostat like in 18 century, only one socket between 2 beds/charge your phone one by one) - stupid system with towels and cards (if you got towel at the beach, you can’t return it at the pool, have to go back (1 km walk) - lack of club cars and staff at reception. Check in and check out time is really crowded Try to close some part of hotel, renovate rooms and facilities and look which type of customer will you get
